I sort of stumbled my way here because I had forgotten about this factory but my friend Christina happened to be visiting on a Saturday afternoon and she asked if I wanted to come along so off I went. SERVICE -- I didn't see much guidance so you'll be on your own as you navigate your way around which can be overwhelming so keep that in mind. Also, the parking lot is very large so it may take you some time of driving around before you even find a spot. WINTER HOLIDAY MARKET -- I arrived for their winter holiday market. There were probably over 100 vendors (small businesses) inside the factory selling all sorts of items from candles, to artwork, pottery, t-shirts, etc. I also noticed a small section of food vendors. There is so much to see here that I suggest not coming in on an empty stomach. I hadn't eaten lunch when I arrived and I was starving so I left after 30 mins while my friend Christina left before me because of the large amount of people around. This factory is similar to 78th street studios but the Screw factory is much larger. I recommending visiting the Screw factory if you love exploring different artists. **** GOAL of 150 reviews in 2024 - 4/150 total reviews in 2024 - 654 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 1 February 2024

I'm totally obsessed with All Matters Gallery. In truth, I found this spot on happy accident. I was…read morewalking down the street when I noticed a little visual of beautiful crystals down a shallow staircase. I forced my Mom to go in with me. We were completely smitten with the vast selection of crystals and other stones. If you are into crystal healing or crystals as art, you're going to be in heaven. I may be so bold as to say that All Matters has the best selection for crystal healing stones I've ever seen. They're untreated, intricately labeled with instruction cards (so appreciated) and come in all forms ranging from raw chunks to tumbled stones and pieces of jewelry. I purchased a few for myself and a few as gifts and they were so nicely wrapped. They also had various salt lamps and other decorative accessories such as crystal candle votives and artwork, but I was so laser focused on the gorgeous and robust crystal selection, which contained even rare stones that are hard to find. The shop owners were very friendly and chatty - they told me they were celebrating 20+ years! They also had the most adorable senior pup, Jasper, chilling behind the counter. I'm so glad I walked downstairs to discover this absolutely wonderful spot! I will be back all the time.

They have a wonderful selection and cards to explain the uses of each. They also have crystal and stone jewelry if that is what you are looking for. In addition to their great crystal selection, they have other items such as singing bowls, smudging supplies/tools, and art pieces. The owner is also so kind and helpful. In chatting with him, I learned that they have a Native American source who had her own shop for many years until her health brought her to Cleveland. She also blesses and cleanses everything before the shop gets them. It is so clear that the owners care about providing quality items that will be helpful for their customers, not just selling product. I will definitely be visiting All Matters for many years to come.

One of the notable initiatives by this organization is Walk All Over Waterloo. It's a monthly initiative that draws a crowd to the neighborhood to explore local arts, eats, and shopping. I attended many Walk All Over Waterloo night, but stopped at the Waterloo Arts for the first time. I enjoyed my time! ARTS: Waterloo Arts is currently hosting Holiday Co-Op featuring local artists. This Co-Op will be running until December 21, 2025. The shopping is open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, 12-7 PM. It's a perfect place to shop for the holidays. You'll find ceramics, art, driftwood decor, jewelry, eco dyed fabrics, and a lot more. You'll be able to find very unique gifts unique just like the neighborhood at different price ranges. Definitely do someone of your holiday shopping here. The space also hosts various workshops and events, check their website. BAR: Seasonally there is a bar open occupying the second room of the space. It's very nice considering it's not even a full time hospitality space. Cute table, lots of space, art, and greenery. It was cozy and inviting. The holiday menu was limited but very good. I ordered a mulled wine ($10) and was very pleased with the drink. It was perfectly spiced with orange and hearty spices. It's exactly how I make it, I like to over spice. It was also very hot, which was a huge plus! I wish this mulled wine was a constant option, I'd come here just for it! SERVICE: The service was extremely friendly at the bar and so were the patrons. The bartender asked for my name and had a very pleasant conversation with me. It was evidence that everyone who works at this non-profit is very committed to its mission and are ambassadors of the neighborhood. I was very pleased with the hospitality. I plan to research when the little bar is open, so I can stop by more and support the mission. I love the inviting vibes and mulled wine! It's a must visit to shop your gift list and pause for snacks, drinks. Add Waterloo Arts to your holiday market stop!

They shared updates on a lot of the creative businesses in the area, served local pizza and beer from Citizens Pie, Great Lakes and other local places. They had a speaker that works at DayGlo (RPM) and were very engaging with our YP Arts Group, Column & Stripe. Couldn't recommend this place more or the Waterloo Arts district.
