Over the last couple weeks I actually got two online email reminders that my ref was due. I had it on my calendar but appreciated the reminders. Went to the online portal and verified my identity with both an email and entering data... Verified my address and credit card info and I was done with a printed receipt in like five minutes . I did not opt to use my veterans exemption on this vehicle . Overall, quick and painless except for the cost lol

This is where you go to apply for the Pre-TSA line at the airport if you are in the United States…read more If you are a US citizen, national and LPRs you can apply for it. This portion at this location is for the fingerprinting and background check. I made an appointment but this place wasn't crowded at all. I ended up just coming in 2 hrs early and knocked everything out as a walk-in. The location is a multiple business building. The UES is located on the third floor at the end of a long hallway (suite 302). Based on what I was told by the tech who took my fingerprints is I should get my background check and KTN (Known Traveler Number) within 2 weeks. He said it usually only takes a week but I'm doing this during the holidays so it will take longer. I paid $85 for 5 years of Pre-TSA. If you fly for business or at least 3 times a year it's definitely worth the $85.
