I've put it off simply due to anxiety, and short funny sorry: my eyes were taped, Brandi had just fondled my lashes, and was ready to start the extensions... and I slowly but surely start falling into a panic attack and I legit stopped her and asked how weird it would be if I bailed - and with so much kindness I could cry, she calmed me into staying with zero pressure, zero guilt. It was actually quite lovely once my body relaxed. Anyways. She was so gentle, took some time to talk me through the basics since I was a newbie and the end result is fantastic. I started off by getting Classic Sets and eventually transitioned to Full Volume Sets once I started adjusting to having extensions. If I were to describe Brandi as a color it would be Yellow. She is literally sunshine, always has positive vibes. Cleanliness is nothing to be worried about with Brandi, she washes her hands thoroughly between each client and you can audibly hear her using hand sanitizer in between the lash process if needed. She ensures that you absolutely love your lashes prior to leaving and also asks prior to next appointments if there is anything that you would like to change. So if at any time you are unhappy with anything she will make adjustments within reason to ensure you are satisfied! What I truly love about Brandi's sets is that I always get compliments about how natural my lashes look even if they are Full Volume Sets! Brandi is truly the only the one I trust with my lashes. At first, I was hesitant about getting extensions for fear of 1. losing my eyelashes, and 2. going blind from the process. Rest assured, both of these things didn't happen. Nykky is VERY knowledgeable and a true professional. The process was painless. The result FABULOUS. I have sensitive skin, eyes, blood. You name it. I had no adverse reactions to the glue or lashes. I've been seeing Felicia for 15 years -- I followed her when she left Facial Bungalow and started…read moreher own business, driving across town because she was worth it. That loyalty made my most recent visit all the more disappointing. I had a 10:50am appointment. The day before, Felicia texted asking if I could push to 11am. I said I'd try to rearrange my plans. She replied: "let's keep the 10:45." I managed to move things around (because if she was asking, I figured she was in need, and I wanted to help) and arrived at 10:57 -- 7 minutes late by the original booking, not 15. When I walked in, Felicia told me I was 15 minutes late. I explained I'd rearranged my schedule to accommodate her request. She shrugged and said "too bad, I already booked someone afterwards.". It wasn't until I was in the room that I checked the reminder email -- original appointment: 10:50. So by her own scheduler, I was 7 minutes late, not 15. Felicia eventually gave me an extra 5 minutes to make up for the mix-up, and I appreciated that. But the cold, dismissive way she started the appointment stayed with me. That's not how you treat someone who's followed you for 15 years. Part of why I see Felicia specifically -- and not one of those high-volume places with curtain walls and hospital beds for tables (you know the ones) -- is the whole experience. A facial should be calming and restorative, and Felicia's warmth has always been as much a part of that as her technique. When that warmth disappeared at the door, it colored everything that followed. The facial itself was top notch. Felicia is genuinely skilled, stays current on products and techniques, and can deliver a top-notch treatment in her sleep. I hope this was an off day, because the person that greeted me at the door was not the warm person that I've been loyal to for a decade and a half.
