When your burgers are barely better than a McDonald's deluxe burger, then someone at Ribs & Burgers must be sniffing their own farts a little too much.

I ordered the Big Queenslander that is lean beef, tasty cheese, crispy trim bacon, free range egg, couple of slices of beetroot with salad, relish, and herbed mayo with hot chips. The burger was HUGE! It was tasty as well but got a bit messy. I think the egg was a bit too much for me. The highlight was definitely the beetroot. I have fallen in love with beetroot since coming to Australia. The buns were fine but didn't stand out like the Beastie ones. The hot chips had a Grill'd herb mix which was pretty tasty. It's nice to add garlic and salt to the chips. Since there were so many burgers to choose from, I would like to go back to Grill'd and try out a chicken burger. It's been super fun trying out all the burger joints in town and if anyone knows a secret burger joint I must try- let me know!

The pattie could have been a bit bigger (next time I'll try an option with two patties), and there was way too much raw red onion (I took it all out, otherwise I would be tasting it all day), but overall it was a good burger. They were very light on the ketchup, or forgot to put it on altogether, so it was a bit dry but still tasty (and lower carb anyway )

Since moving to Brisbane, I've been searching for a burger that reminds me of home. Burger places…read morehere have a tendency to put too many things on their burgers and make things too complicated. The burgers here break that trend- they focus on the burger which is good quality beef and let the toppings accentuate the good beef and not overpower it. The buns are perfection as well, buttered and toasted and make every bite of your burger feel like a gourmet treat. Their super fries are crispy and loaded with cheese bacon and chimichurri - some of the best fries I have had in Brisbane as well. An affordable treat hidden in the neighborhood. Definitely a place to visit for people looking for a great burger in a sea of burger mediocrity.

It never seems too busy in this restaurant which for me is a plus, however some may think this is a negative. Booths along the wall, tables for groups and outdoor seating -all are comfortable seats. I like their fake grass and Grill'd outfits. I tried their sweet potato chips but they had lots of salt of them. I don't like them with salt. Just a heads up if you want to try them. We managed to arrive just after the lunch rush, so ordering was quick and the wait time was minimal. If you like Reese's Pieces peanut butter candy you must try the Natella Peanut Butter milkshake. A sweet infusion of chocolate and peanuts that was just too delicious. I had the New Yorker and my wife the el Diablo. The New Yorker was such an enjoyable burger, only issue was the glazed milk bun was cut on such a slope that it thinned out terribly on one side. Despite that you could really bite into the beef pattie, the salt from maple bacon, pickles and American style cheddar were held in place by the hickory BBQ sauce and freshness of the lettuce and tomato. My wife very much enjoyed her el Diablo and said she'd order it again. The staff were friendly and helpful. A very pleasant experience all round.
