They do however raise prices slower than the others so if you're driving up sawmill and see BP at $3.99 when it was $3.79 in the morning, chances are it will still be $3.79 here. I don't know of anywhere else that makes such a great milkshake. I always order the Giant (32oz) chocolate milk shake made with homemade chocolate ice cream instead of malt and chocolate milk. Reminds me of Baskin Robbin's shakes when we still had them around. And they only cost about $4 too which is excellent for a hand spun shake made with real ice cream. They have a decent selection of other ice creams too if you want a cone or a sundae and they almost always have something on sale such as a Large Peach Milkshake for $0.99. Service for the ice cream area can be a problem if they have one person running the checkout for gas and convenience items and doing ice cream. I've had lines form over there while they make my shakes and then I had to go stand in a long line to pay. I've also had them put my shake on the machine and go check people out and let it spin too long. And the opposite might happen where there is a line at the convenience store so you have to wait for your ice cream especially if there is a line over there. Maybe a second employee dedicated to the ice cream bar? They do have an outside area to eat as well as a nice one inside. Clean bathrooms too.

The attendant, tho pleasant enough still made me feel kind of "judged" by needing her help 3x's. So there was that. The lady bagging her groceries next to me goes. "Psst, I think this self scanning is difficult too and often think "why didnt I go to the cashier"". Me: exactly!!! Im just not a fan. Im the sole care giver for my mother. Time is valuable to me. However avoiding stress is even more valuable. I get stressed at this store. Even though this is right across the street, I think I will drive up or down the road to the competition as shopping at either location is just so much easier than being at this Kroger and dealing with the lot and the self scanner.
