But what happened yesterday was completely unacceptable. I called a few days ahead and was able to schedule an appointment the week after at 3:30pm. I arrive exactly at 3:30 to locked doors. There was even a note inside the lock from another customer saying that they had an appointment at 12:30 and the doors were locked. I don't know what type of business you can run like this. Maybe there was an emergency, but the least you can do is call your customers and let them know. Should have known there would be issues with this place when I called all summer and left voicemails for my dog to be groomed and no one replied. Not a soul. Y'all won't have to worry about me or my dog again.

I scheduled an appointment with Surf City Pet Hospital and felt immediate relief. They checked her out, ran a couple of blood tests, clipped her nails, and gave her some medicine. They were very gentle with her, too. She's a nervous dog, so I'm sure she appreciated it. They offer all the flea and tick and heartworm treatments you can imagine. The prices are about the same as any vet and they DO take Care Credit if you need to use it. My pup got a 6-month heartworm injection, some antibiotics, a fecal test, and a basic examination for $151. Well worth it. There have cats everywhere! It was a kitty heaven! And they were so well-behaved and chill. There were a few up for adoption, too. If only, if only... I would have taken them all home with me. This happened back in May or so. My baby is doing much better thanks to them and I'm looking forward to making this her primary vet. Thank you again so much!

When I got done with the 10 minutes of the follow-up they socked me for another $45.00 ? The best part is when they said they would put my $25.00 deposit that they made me pay just in order to make the original appointment towards the $45.00 followup fee. Where ever I've been before follow-up's weren't an extra charge ,even when they had to remove stitches and asking for a deposit in order to make an appointment is a bit much? "Another group of veterinarians that decided to get all they can".
