Data Detect were honest about the likelihood of recovery and turned around a super quick quote for the repair. They communicated in easy terms what was going on and talked through some options and ways to prevent this in future. In my case my HDD was not cost effective to recover the data so I will just take the lesson on the chin this time! Quote was provided free of charge and they even mailed the drive back out to me for free - Seriously, where do you find that anymore!
