Thought it was expensive for the size you got. A 2 scoop cup, a 2 scoop sugar cone and a very small pup cup was $20. Ice cream was a little too soft for my liking. Flavor was great, however not a lot of mix-ins in the ice cream. Only had one piece of toffee in the toffee ice cream. I got the vegan coconut orange and a pup cup. The coconut orange was a different flavor but it was tasty and had really good flavor. My pup enjoyed her pup cup too. A brand new ice cream shop in Newport. How does this one stand out from the crowd? Well for one it's all home made. You can taste the freshness in every bite. My two kids got mint chocolate chip and classic vanilla. They enjoyed their ice cream very much. It's probably what you would call a hole in the wall. You might just walk right past it if it were not for the little sign outside. The owner was very nice. They are also furry friend friendly. There was a dog getting their treat as well. Ice cream is ok. Service terrible. We were very friendly, asking the two young ladies at the counter how they were, not a smile or any return of friendliness. When asking what we wanted they were actually quite rude. For $16 for three baby size ice creams, I expect better. It's also ridiculous to not be able to have two flavors. EDIT: to Owner response below.... The camera doesn't pick up voice I assume or tone. I'm a business owner too, in the service industry, in a resort town. This isn't coming out of left field and I know how difficult it is to own a business, manage employees, deal with tourists, etc. If someone took the time to tell me something by way of review, I would not be passive aggressive about it, I would want to further know what happened, and not make assumptions. Stopped by to get some ice cream to go. Ordered their large size so I was able to cost two different flavors. I chose strawberry and pumpkin spice latte on a cone. The strawberry was decent. I thought there could have been more strawberry flavor to it but it was still nice and creamy. The pumpkin spice latte was really good. It had a strong pumpkin spice flavor and bits of pumpkin pie. It might have been the best pumpkin ice cream I've ever had. I would definitely come back the next time I'm in Newport to try other flavors. read more

My main critique is that the portion was absolutely terrible. When they say one scoop they aren't kidding, you're getting one scoop that barely fills half the cup! Better to just go for the double. Hands down my favorite ice cream I've ever had! I got to experience this lovely shop on the Newport Neighborhood Food Tour. I loved it so much after the tour ended I went back for more! The flavors are all so good and the ingredients taste insanely fresh! I had the lemon, orange pineapple, Heath and coconut caramel. I can't say a favorite because they were all equally delicious.
