Hello! searched online for an energy consultant who can give me some info regarding my system. Found Get Rated here on yelp. since the minute I called it was a great experience- I was able to get a lot of info thru the phone and also was very easy to communicate and schedule with them. prices are pretty much like the others I spoke to but Get rated was just a different experience from the beginning. Needed a HERS insp. for upcoming city inspection of a new system install. Scheduled inspection over the phone and tech arrived at precisely the scheduled time. He did the inspection professionally and in a timely fashion, but found a problem with the coolant charge pressures. He took a pic of the meter readings for me to forward to my contractor. Corrective work to be done next week and I expect all to go well with Get Rated. [more to come] Contractor didn't resolve problem first try and city inspector was getting impatient. I recently replaced my Condenser and the city inspector came out and said I need hers testing. Since I never heard of it before, I googled a few companies in the area and after calling a few of them I decided to move forward with Get Rated since they were able to come out the following day and their price was better then the rest. Passing a HERS test is kind of like getting a colonoscopy--it's expensive and unpleasant, but you have to do it. Get Rated made the HERS process as pleasant as it could be. My HVAC system failed its first test. The technician gave me some very helpful advice so that I could fix the problems, and my system passed the second time around. There were a few hiccups when it came to getting the final written report to, but Get Rated worked diligently and professionally to get the report to me as quickly as possible. I would use them again. But like a colonoscopy, I hope I won't have to for another ten years. read more

I'm a contractor and had a project I needed to pull a permit for the hvac system, trying to pull the for hvac the city requested a CF1R form which I've yet to hear about. Asked them about the form and who supply's it- I then researched HERS eaters in LA and came across GET RATED. What can I say... they made the process so easy and smooth. I recently had my complete HVAC system replaced at my two story home. After the contractor/company completed the work of installing the Outside Condenses, Inside Furnaces and Coils, Thermostats, installing UV lights and updating the Air ducts in the attic, Get Rated was contacted to perform the HERS (Home Energy Rating System) test. The HERS technician was professional, very knowledgeable and thorough in his testing. He efficiently conducted the Field Verification and Diagnostic testing. He came prepared with all his equipment and checked the Condensers refrigerant levels and detected some Air Duct leakage when testing the Furnaces and the air flow through the vents. He contacted the contractor the same day he performed the HERS test and provided a report of his findings. After the contractor came to my home to make the necessary corrections, Get Rated arrived the same day to check the work and run the HERS test again. This time it passed! Get Rated was great with scheduling the testing visits and arrived on time. The technician was careful with the furnishings in my home and answered all my questions. I appreciated the third party evaluation and felt that Get Rated was on my side (the homeowner), making sure that I received the HVAC service I paid for.
