Opening a new business I got what seemed like a flood of marketing companies calling me. Not to mention a bunch of emails that went to my spam folder. I got so many that I decided to hold off for a while and see how things panned out. It turned out to be pretty dumb mistake. I would get a little foot traffic from people that went to other stores in the center I'm in but that was it. They'd say some variation of I had no idea you were here. I was also using a really basic website that I built online. Eventually Pagehub called and I was ready to try just about anything at that point. I explained the issues and they explained the visibility problems I was having and how to fix them. For what they charged and how fast they got it going I would have been much better off if I had done this from the start. Its working now and I love how the site turned out. read more

I know when something turns out too good to be true thankfully, I had everything documented from the very beginning otherwise they would've won without proof of what they've stated in the beginning to what they tried to state now. And they got some very articulate sneezy sales reps but the number one word of advice. Is if the only thing you seek is to get a paycheck and not a reputation, you'll never really become wealthy. You'll just be a joke. Posting for public clarification, they will sell you. What they can't deliver, then reword what they've said in the beginning. No reputation for this company. I don't know why YELP allows just any random business to get our information once we sign up to this platform. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY AND DO NOT USE THEM FOR ANY OF THEIR SERVICES!!!! If i could select 0 or negative stars i absolutely would. This has got to be the worst SEO agency i have ever came across and i have done business with quite a few shady SEO agencies. Here are my issues with the company. Incorrect Geographic Targeting: Despite multiple explicit requests to stop targeting a specific location, their team consistently optimized posts for that low-population, lower-budget market. This completely clashes with my target demographic of high-end residential clients Lack of Performance & Value: The automated backlinks and generic posts provided do not justify the $200/month fee. I have continuously had to manually log into my own Google Business Profile to correct the location targeting on your posts, meaning I am actively doing the work I am paying your agency to handle. Outdated SEO Strategy: In today's SEO environment, low-tier automated backlinks and canned posts do not carry weight or provide a return on investment for a high-ticket service business like mine. Severe Lack of Communication: The overall communication leading up to a recent phone conversation was completely unacceptable. While we just recently agreed to monthly email follow-ups to detail behind-the-scenes activity, the radio silence and lack of updates prior to that conversation left me completely in the dark regarding what I was paying for. False Sales Guarantees: During our initial sales consultation, I explicitly asked about timelines, and a representative stated that my business profile would be ranking "in the top 3" within 7 to 10 days. Their team has since repeatedly denied that this was said. I know the company records its sales lines, and I welcome them to audit the recording of that initial onboarding call. This specific guarantee was asked and answered just minutes before I provided my credit card number to activate the service. read more

I wouldn't ignore the other poor reviews for this company. My only interaction with them was the initial and only call that I've received from them and that told me all that I needed to know about them. They use proven social engineering scamming tactics by instantly conveying a sense of urgency or your business will be doomed without their service. First, the guy that actually called me didn't really identify the company but went right into a story about how they have an opening in my area for coveted Google Ad placement and it was being offered to me. He then asked me a loaded question about whether I would appreciate a 60% increase in business. Obviously, my answer is going to be yes just because what business owner wouldn't? At that point, he connected me to a "listing agent" that immediately started discussing pricing and throwing out a bunch of technical jargon about how the service would work for me. I stopped him and told him that I wasn't going to make a buy decision after just a three minute phone call. He then tried a little harder by emphasizing the urgency about prime ad availability. I held my ground. Then he got short, thanked me, and hung up. Beware of these guys. Their tactics are predatory because they appeal to the emotions and impulses in order to manipulate a desperate decision. read more

Shoddy marketing tactics, their cold callers are rude and very missleading. They start by saying "we're Google partners, and we've just had a spot open up on page one of Google, and we're looking to fill it immediately". That is not how Google works, and they are relying on people not understanding how search engines work to sell their services. You can't just be "placed" in a spot on Google. And spots don't just "open up". Absolutely misleading. They should have their Google Partner status revoked. Avoid this company at all costs. read more

Rude! I was chatting with them, they called to say they had a slot open, I was interested, and made that known, but because I mentioned I wanted to discuss the information with my husband and get back with them later the same day, I was discussing my reasonings and before I could finish he cut me off said "have a great day" and hung up. Needless to say, I'm no longer interested. read more

DO NOT USE GET PAGE HUB! They got my google my business page suspended, changed the "about us" section and messed up the description of my business, making it HARDER to get clients! They said if I dont get at least 10 clients from them then its money back, I got ZERO clients from them in two months and asked for my refund, now they are holding my credit card information hostage and keep trying to charge it all the while threatening to send my invoice to collections! This is a scamateur service and I should have never given them access to my google page!!! 0 stars!!! I read the crappy reviews and still took a chance. NEVER AGAIN!!! Please, let's put these people out of business. They're scammers. They used their saleman tactics to get my money. They're very convincing, I will give them that credit. I paid them $171.99 after I agreed to pay $170 even, they charged me nearly 2 dollars more than I authorized. What's worse, my customer interactions on Google was over 100 because my business is new. Now, my interactions are ONLY 10 and my business doesn't show up in Google! I'm taking the $171.00 loss and I'm posting reviews ALL OVER the internet, so they can't scam other people. These are professional criminals. They won't answer my phone calls or my emails. I granted them access to my Google business account and here I am leaving this review 2 days later. They're liars and thieves. I'm very surprised they're not in prison. read more

I paid these people $269 the first month, & then $169.00 a month for 2 more months. I am a remodeler/painter in Dallas, Texas. When you type "painters in Dallas" or "Remodelers in Dallas," I dont even show up on the results at all! And they promised I would be on the first Page. Im not even on the last page... Complete waste of money! Tip for consumers: How non existent the results are of using this (DIS) service! Products used: Website, SEO, read more

Beware of snake oil sales, they guarantee nothing but 3 months of charges before they actually begin to work. Was persuaded by sales rep that there was a 90 guarantee....apparently the guarantee is that they will charge you for literally nothing at all and guarantee they will figure it out after 90 days. This company should be ashamed of taking my hard earned money as well as others from to line their pockets. No help from others such as Lacy and Justin other than stone walled about how no SEO company guarantees their work. read more

Just got off the phone from them after a first initial marketing call. I agree with what Pete B. said in the other reviews. Called saying that they help with Google rankings, the whole time trying to convey urgency so I could sign up after a 3 minute phone call. They use good social engineering and convincing language by asking a bunch of easy yes/no questions so please watch out. read more

i spoke with George, and to say the guy was pushy and arrogant, was an understatement. they call everyone and promise to improve local business rankings, even if you are in the top 3 already... since my business was already in the top 3 spots on GOOGLE MAPS, I confronted the guy about it and he got smart and hung up. I do not recommend PAGEHUB. Poor experience with them and they did not stick to their agreement. I would not recommend them. You can put yourself on google for free! 0 stars! read more

Salesman lied to me. He told me that they are the ones that out the Google listings in the top three positions and that he could put me in there. I worked with them for two months. I paid them $400 (which is a lot for a new small business) and I got no results. They made me a website which was horrible. It didn't have any of the things that I had asked for and it was extremely ugly. They basically just took a template and put in my company info. I already had taken lots of time to make a very personal site and they wouldn't integrate any of the info from there. read more

I do not recommend them! They called me on Friday, before my business conference started, for a google placement for my business. I informed them that I was going into a conference call and, could not talk. The supervisor Frank continued to speak over me and, would not allow me to end the call politely. I had my employees with me and did not to be rude in front of them. As soon as i hung up, they called back instantly. Within an hour and half, of ending the first call, I received 18 calls from them. All of those calls were during my conference call. I received numerous calls from this company throughout the rest of the day. I asked numerous times to taken off their company. I also received a call from their supervisor Frank today, and i informed him that i would never go through their company and, to stop calling.....Frank called me back, a few hours later, to "catch me in a better mood". I was never in a bad mood until, they constantly harassed me, especially when I was in an important meeting. I have also reported this to google as well, since they swear they are a google partner read more

Our shop has always had trouble attracting new customers for sunglasses even though we have a huge selection. We get plenty of repeat business but how many sunglasses does one customer need? Get PageHub called and they were talking about getting us seen online. The price was right so we decided to give it a shot! They did keyword reserch for us and gave us a report and recommendations explaining how we could target people looking for sunglasses. They were fast and it was a good thing because it was already summer when we first got started. We have definitely seen some new faces recently and when we ask how they heard about us they say online, so as far as I'm concerned its working. read more

This company is amazing for Digital Marketing. Great Customer Service. The websites they offer are visually eye catching. All the pricing for there services are very affordable. Anything you need in the world of Search Engine Optimization they are there for you 100%. Was very impressed. read more

I've been with Pagehub for 3 months now. It took some time but I'm glad I made the decision to go with them. It was slow going at first but honestly that was my fault. My Google listing had got suspended and I created a duplicate one. It was just a mess. When I called about this I actually got to talk to the manager Bob who was extremely knowledgeable. He explained the whole process we would need to go through with Google to get it straightened out. From that point on everything fell into place exactly how he said it would. I don't have a ton more business yet but looking at the reporting my listing is getting more views and clicks so I'm happy so far. I'm not too happy with my webmaster so I may get rid of him and have them make me a new website next year! read more

Business has been so up and down due to the pandemic. My regular customers haven't known whether the restaurant was open or not. I wanted an easy way to publish updates. Coincidentally I was contacted by Jason from Pagehub and he explained some of the services offered including a new website. I decided to spend the money and leave this part of the business to a professional service since clearly what I was doing was not working. Thankfully I did, it is paying off. Within one month everything was complete, including a few changes I made to the website. I worked with one of their reps to put out updates using Google's posts and he made a coupon for me as well. It made things very easy for me having everything in one service. read more

Used PageHub for almost a year and charged me a couple hundred a month. Could not find a contact number anywhere as I did not receive 1 lead from them in that time frame. All leads verifiably came from other sources such as Angie Leads. I cancelled the credit card just to stop payments. When they reached out I asked them what their claim of service was and said that they put in search words to help my business. The some search words did not reflect our business and when I put the search words in our business info did not appear in the search. I asked them for proof of service which they said they were unable to do. Complete scam to me and will be looking to find legal ways to retrieve back our money. read more

They said they could help my business get verified of google business, they could not. I got another company to help get verified and they were able to do it in a day. They promised to get me to the top page of google, they did nothing. I wasn't too worried because they said i would get my money back if i wasnt on the top page of google in 3 months, then i found out they do not give your money back, they just stop charging you after 3 months untill your website's on the first page of google. They never get your website on the first page of google. Their tactic is to lie and say they will stop charging you but continue to work on it, then if it never gets on the first page of google, which it doesnt, they just made you pay for the sign up fee, and the 2 months of monthly fees they charged, and as far as i can tell no work was put in on their end. Very sneaky business tactic and i fell for it. The up side is that now i'm mad enough to learn how to do online advertisement on my own. read more

I've worked with a lot of advertising and marketing companies over the years. Working in the mattress industry at various levels I've dealt with one man operations, major agencies and boutique firms. When online marketing overtook traditional advertising in importance there seemed to be a lag before there were good companies to work with. The traditional advertisers I'd been dealing with were very slow to adapt and always minimized the role digital should play in the overall ad spend and marketing strategy. I'm managing a regional chain of stores now and the first SEO company we dealt with was horrible. They got one of the Google listings suspended. After I cancelled them I talked to Chris at Pagehub and he gave a very good overview of how their service could fit in with our other efforts. They got the listing out of suspension and it's a good deal. read more

Pagebub has been great. I recently started up my own company & they've helped design a website as well as help manage my listing. Unless their service changes on me they're a great company so far. read more

I was promised the world by a hustler named Tyler. I was told Pagehub would have my site on the first page of Google in 90 days or they would not charge me until I was on the first page of Google. Three months go by and I could not find my site anywhere online unless I typed in my exact URL. Pagehub was true to its word they did not charge me after the three months. Seven months passed and nothing. I had called the office several times to get an update and they always had their "special team" working on my account. I am convinced they just took $700 dollars and did absolutely nothing. I have since changed the name of my company and I have never heard a word from them. This is a company of low integrity and unsavory business practices. You have been warned! There is a happy ending to this review. I have found a company that provides me with weekly reports and in 6 weeks has my business on the front page of Google which Pagehub could not do in six months. That company is "On The Horizon Communications" (559) 936-6578 Sandra Parker and her team are top-notch with the highest integrity. read more

Give refunds when promised. We canceled in March, they kept charging and wouldn't give a refund

Was very hesitant to use the services because anytime I have paid for any kind of advertising Google Yelp Facebook it has not worked. They spent over 2 weeks trying to talk me into using their service, I asked a lot of questions about their promises versus what is actually written in there contract and told them that that would leave me no recourse if they did not deliver. I chose to give them a try and nothing happened to my account in the advertising promises were not met. When I addressed this issue they said they would work on it and even admitted to me that my account had not been worked on properly. When my account was put on hold By Kelly Finance, because their advertising was not met and they admitted that my account had not been worked on they just stopped communicating with me and stopped working on my account. Before placing this I sent an email letting them know how upset I have not heard back at all at all since that email in Sept. They took my money and did not deliver the top ranking positions that they had promised for 10 different keyword and phrases. At 1 point they double charged my card before and a had to get that corrected and then while on the "free" service because they did not deliver on their advertising promise they tried to bill me again and when I addressed that they still had not met their advertising promise they just stopped communicating with me after they said they would look into it. Having been promised what they would produce, the company admitting that they did not work on my account, and the many continued ignored communications, They are a company that does not deliver on their word but takes the money that is paid for their services. read more

My company has handled our client's custom crating and packaging needs for over two decades. We're established and have a loyal client base because they trust us. But over the last few years some them have retired or moved out of state and we saw a need to earn new clients. There's no shortage of projects out there but I found it was much more difficult than I ever thought of to connect with people who haven't heard of you. I guess because we are such a niche business people don't know how to find us and people aren't running to the phonebook to find businesses like they used to. I got hooked up with Pagehub when my brother in law recommended them after working with them for his plumbing company. The rate was fair considering what I'd seen from other internet companies. They developed a new website for us that's a lot more up to date. They explained a bunch of things about Google and got us active on there. I'm very satisfied with how it's been working out. read more

We used the same marketing company for years but when there was an ownership change we ran into trouble. First, we couldn't get a call back and then our website started having issues with reliability. We were moving locations and took that as a good opportunity to make a change. One of our vendors recommended Pagehub so we dealt with one of their managers. They gave us a good explanation of how they could streamline things. When we talked to one of their specialists during the on boarding process they explained that more care needed to be taken with the move. It figures, but I'm glad we had them to work with because they updated everything online as well as creating a new website. Very happy we made the switch when we did. read more

Run! Don't walk from this company. Without getting into the minutiae of how they rip people off, basically, they promise to optimize your google listing by citing your company on "tier 1" websites to help your ranking so you have a better chance of showing up on google searches in certain key worlds that apply to your industry. Well, after a few months of taking our money, we check the analytics...surprise! They hadn't done a SINGLE thing other than create a FREE google listing anyone can create on their own in 30 minutes. We stopped paying right away and when we contacted them to have our FREE listing back to manage on our own, they tried to shake me down for an additional $350. I even offered to pay a lesser amount to not go through the hassle of re-listing my company. Kelly hung up on me and they will no longer answer the phone. They also have NO GOOGLE LISTING because their reviews are so bad. Let that sink in, a business in the business of google listing doesn't have a google listing to try to hide their shady dealings. Why they still have a BBB accreditation is making me rethink the value of The BBB. read more
