This is their original location though they have a few others now, too, I think. They carry just about everything you'd want or need for skateboarding including a wide array of decks, trucks, wheels, and shoes including Nike SB and adidas Skateboarding. Because of their long local history, they've done colabs with a number of national brands and have some unique shirts and other products. One important note on their location: Google Maps does not show the accurate location! The actual shop is about half a mile south of where Google indicates it is but yes it is in a shopping center off US 19. Keep driving south on US 19 and look on what will be on your right if heading south for a strip mall called I think "Bradley Plaza". It has a bright blue roof and that's where Westside is.

They had Spitfires 80HD Chargers too, which I think are discontinued by the manufacturer. That's a bummer because these wheels are dope. I usually use OG Reed's bearings, but dude convinced me to try Super Red's. No regrets on that decision, either. It was a bit more, but I really dig the bearings they feel crazy fast & smooth. Might be the wheels too since I've been riding 99s for a while prior to setting this up. My sister in law got my brother some shoes and dude gave us a bunch of stickers. My wife ordered some skates online, tried to skate the neighborhood a bit and realized something…read morewas off. After checking around she heard that Skater's Choice was the place to go to get her skates ready for the road. We rolled up on a Saturday and spoke directly to one of the owners. She was able to tell my wife exactly what was going on (wrong wheels for the road). She got her some more appropriate wheels and put them on. She also had a lot of other suggestions for my wife to make her skating experience better. While assisting us, another employee was working with a clearly more experienced skater (who had been doing some skate dancing?). The employee with us was also able to lead him to the skates he needed as well as offer some pointers (while simultaneously continuing to fix my wife's issue). The moral of the story? Doesn't matter if you are a beginner or more experienced, a road skater or skate dancer(?), Skater's Choice can get you fitted and drop the knowledge you need for a successful roll.

After changing wheels/ bearings and adjusting trucks a bunch of times I realized the skates I got were duds. I finally decided to cop a fresh pair of quads here. She helped navigate the selection and we found these beauties with the perfect fit/style! After that I never left the rink again. I am looking forward to breaking these babies in!
