We had DJ Nick Mascioli for our wedding (9/13/25) and he was amazing! He showed up several hours early to set up in the reception hall and also had a secondary station down at our ceremony at a beach 1/4 mile away. The ceremony went amazing with his audio and playing music. Then during dinner and dance party after he was amazing! The dance floor was crowded the whole time!!! I loved how he wouldn't play the whole song but would find spot to cut off and go to another song to keep the flow moving. He did great during the announcements and had amazing energy the whole night. I highly recommend Nick!!! We also added the up lighting and monogram to the package and soooooo worth it. You should ABSOLUTELY choose DJ Kelsey for your wedding -- or any event, really. When my wife and I started searching for vendors, we approached every decision with a lot of thought and research. On the Get Down Tonight website, I watched all the DJs' introduction videos. At first, I realized I had inadvertently skipped the female DJs, immediately corrected myself, and watched their videos. Both women were fantastic, but Kelsey instantly stood out. While many DJs covered the usual talking points, Kelsey was the only one who emphasized being detail-oriented -- mastering the pronunciation of every name, paying attention to pacing, and understanding the many moving parts of a wedding. She's all about creating an incredible dance floor vibe, but she also clearly understands the responsibility of running the flow of an entire event. The DJ truly sets the tone, and Kelsey takes that seriously. Our friends and family love to be silly and have fun on the dance floor, and Kelsey understood that energy immediately. They told a childhood story involving a niche, repetitive song I used to sing, and even sang it as part of the speech. Everyone cracked up, and we got so many compliments on her quick thinking. I had even suspected she might do it as my brothers were singing, and she didn't disappoint. At the end of the night, Kelsey shared the sweetest comments with us about our wedding, saying how wonderful our guests were and how warmly everyone treated the vendors. The next day she sent us a short clip of our first dance, along with kind words that meant a lot -- especially since I had choreographed it myself. Find someone who will actually listen to you and play the music list that you create for your own wedding! Jess Riley was everything we could have hoped for in a wedding DJ. We clicked with her right from the very first video call. She had a genuine interest in figuring out our music preferences and really nailed it when it came to the event itself. We gave her a playlist to just to give her an idea, but she really crafted an experience that epitomized our tastes. Her transitions were so good and made everyone excited with each new song. She was so good at reading the crowd and I got many compliments on our choice of DJ. Something that struck me was that, after the night was over, she didn't just pack up and hurry out. She came and found me and we had a very nice debrief on the evening and she told me what a fun time she had and how much she loved partying with our crowd. DJ Chad was truly amazing. Working with him gave us such peace of mind during the wedding process. When we first booked him he reached out to touch base and let us know we could reach out with any questions. When we met with him he came up with great ideas to improve the flow of our day that we hadn't thought of. He suggested everything from how to make the music in the ceremony flow better to ways we could adjust our processional order to make more sense. The more he got to know about us and our personalities, the more he helped us really personalize everything about our day. He even had song suggestions for random chunks of the day that we loved. He was responsive and accommodating of changes we wanted to make the morning of. We asked last minute to adjust the first dance to be shorter and he said he'd gladly do that or we could invite everyone onto the dance floor partway through. Chad showed up ready to go. He was cheerful and gave us nothing but positive energy. Our ceremony ran smoothly thanks to all of his help. Throughout the day he was touching base with other vendors, the wedding party, and us to make sure everything went smoothly and to our vision. Our reception was an absolute blast. He really knew how to read the room and get everyone hyped. And he was accommodating of any and all song requests. Our wedding day was perfectly us and a huge part of that is thanks to Chad! We had so many compliments about not only Chad as a DJ, but how fun and beautiful everything was and how much our personalities shined through. Yes, they do have great DJs, but that is no excuse for what appears to be stealing deposits from customers for future events that can't be confirmed due to COVID. As we have settled into married life and have seen people from our wedding, one of the first statements out of peoples' mouths is "that was the best wedding", or "I danced ALL night", "the music was GREAT" or "I have never seen that many people dance through the whole night before". All of these comments are because of DJ Tommy. Tommy did a fabulous job of playing to the crowd. He did play a few mixes of songs, but really did a great job of playing songs he knew would get people to the dance floor. Something I really appreciated is that to get people to start dancing, he called everyone to the dance floor for a whole group picture. Once we got a few shots he turned the music on and got people dancing as soon as the night allowed! He did offer requests, and requests that were made were met! He did an amazing job! We recently hired Chad Ardizzoni for DJ services and his up lighting package for our October wedding at Zorvino Vineyards. From beginning to end, Chad was a complete professional and helped put us at ease with his knowledge of the process/music in general, asking the right questions, and his mixing skills. During both the ceremony and the reception there was not a single moment of awkwardness. He was able to read the crowd on a Sunday afternoon/evening and keep everyone entertained the entire time. Though I was in a tight (huge) dress even I couldn't stop getting out on the dance floor - yelling "oh, I love this song!" a number of times. If there is a question - go with Chad! He made our big day an amazing one. If there is also a question about the up lighting, it is totally worth it. We had only discussed doing purple, but he managed to also find a warm orange to match our colors, making the venue even more beautiful than it already was. When my wife contacted this company they proceeded to tell us our $300 deposit wasn't refundable. We went back and forth via email to try to get back our deposit and weren't successful what so ever. I don't believe there is anything in the contract that states if there is a word wide pemidemic you will not be refunded your money. He had the party rocking from the get go, but when my brother dislocated his knee cap partying too hard (to Taylor Swift "Shake It Off" lol) and was taken away in an ambulance, it would have been very easy to lose the crowd. We got married last weekend and hired brandon Lloyd as our DJ. All the reviews I saw about get down tonight were great so we chose to go with them. The music that was played at our wedding was ok but as far as the Mc part it was horrible... when we met with Brandon I stressed that when the wedding party and everyone was introduced in we wanted it hyped up.. nope it wasn't at all just names were called. Several people started contacting me about how bad the communication was. My videographer sent me an email stating that he and my photographer asked brandon to keep them in the loop as stuff was going on such as cake cutting etc. This was not done also. My mother in law didn't even know the cake cutting was going on it was very poor announcing. When my centerpieces were given away names were just rambled off really fast I had to go up and tell him that nobody even knew what was being said or going on. They played every song we requested and incorporated guest requests as well as their own crowd pleasers. We were married two weeks ago and hired Drew Rissler to be our DJ, based on a recommendation from our photographer. The company was very responsive and easy to deal with. Drew himself was fantastic!! We live in Seattle but were married in NH, and had to work mainly through phone and email but he was so personable and easy to work with. Several of our ceremony songs had to be edited for time (to the second, because I was being really particular) - Drew edited them exactly as I asked. All of our guests danced all night, and he facilitated some special moments and made sure that our guests who were outside knew we were about to cut the cake, do the bouquet toss, etc. He coordinated very well with our photographers so they knew what was coming when. He only meet us once but he just understood us and our personalities. We love to dance and he made sure that happened! Bob takes the time he has to get to know you and can identify just the tunes you need! He is so organized and has a set plan that just worked, it was incredible! We hired Dean Michael from Get Down Tonight for our wedding and were extremely disappointed with their services. As my bride was getting ready to down the isle, 30 minutes after Dean had agreed to arrive, our amazing wedding coordinator pulled her aside to let her know that our DJ had not arrived, nor had he attempted to contact them. My bride left Dean a voicemail with instructions to contact our wedding coordinator - not her as she was about to go to the ceremony. She tried to contact the main head quarters and she could not even get a voicemail. Eventually, Dean responded to my bride during the ceremony to let us know that he was having car trouble and was well over an hour away, and would refund our payment. Apearantly, Dean felt he could handle this situation himself and felt no need to inform us of his perdicament and left us hanging. Lucky for us, our wedding coordinator was able to contact the DJ for the afternoon wedding and get him to start the reception then transition over to Dean. So we basically paid full price for Get Down Tonight and still needed to pay a second DJ to fulfill their services. Even worse was that no one was available at the headquarters when we needed them the most. We contacted Dean about taking him up on his offer to return our payment, but we never received a response. Get Down Tonight also sees no need to work with us given that they were not available and we had to obtain services from a second DJ. When making a decision about your DJ, don't just consider how great their performances will be during your event - consider where they will be when something goes wrong. read more

Just experienced an amazing night with Jeremy Guilbeault as our wedding DJ. Jeremy was fun, upbeat, young, and knew exactly what we wanted! Awful experience. I've shared my thoughts to the dj herself along with owner/manager Tommy and again both continued to be rude. I would never recommend this company to any of my family or friends that are getting married in the near future. From the ceremony where no one could hear my JP. Then introductions where she yelled at my wedding party. Moving along to blaming my guests for her not being heard because they were a "chatty crowd" so everyone missed my first dance, cake cutting, announcements of speeches and then did not play specified genres. There were numerous times later in the night where the young crowd was finally on the dance floor having fun and then she put on a slow song and ruined the mood. There was no mix or blend into songs all just played one after the other. Once she ruined a few good moments guests tried requesting songs and she said only the bride can request, I then went to her to tell her to play whatever anyone requests, and still had numerous people asking me to go request songs for them since SHE STILL wasn't allowing anyone to do so. Lastly she finally played a requested song after the end time when a guest of mine offered $200.. so she played 2 songs for $200. My last complaint is on the wedding worksheet it clearly asks "Will there be a meal provided for the dj" as I clearly checked yes, you would have thought she would have stated she was a vegetarian as all the vendors usually get the same meal chosen by the venue or catering company. Advice to DJ- speak up or get better equipment. Try not to have an attitude. Be patient as things don't always stay on schedule. And MOST OF ALL do not bother the bride on her day, find someone else to run things by and if you're finding a lot of people requesting songs.. chances are you aren't keeping the crowds attention with whatever YOU have chosen to play. read more

Since we had a destination wedding, we did not get to meet Shaun in person until our wedding day, but he helped us plan via Skype, phone, and email. We had a small wedding reception (about 60 people) but he kept our dance floor going all night and kept everyone engaged the entire time.
