We spent the next 11 months hyping up him to our friends and he BEYOND delivered!! We knew we loved how he ran the dance floor and read the vibes of the room, but after booking him for our wedding, I was so impressed with how thorough he was in getting to know what kind of music we wanted to hear at our wedding ahead of time through his client portal. Throughout the night, he continued to come up to my husband and I to check in with us and make sure we knew the plan, but at the same time he was so self sufficient - he didn't "need" anything from us. The dance floor at our wedding was packed the entire night with every age group having a great time! My husband and I got so many comments from friends and family that they have never had so much fun at a wedding and have never seen a dance floor so packed at any other wedding! My family group chat is still talking about how great DJ Matt was lol. My sister tried to book him for her wedding next August but unfortunately he is unavailable. The DJ you select plays such an important role in your wedding from start to finish - they play your ceremony processional/recessional music, cocktail hour music, and serve as not only a DJ but also as an MC during the reception. I cannot recommend DJ Matt enough - you need him as your wedding DJ!!

Fast foward to March 30, 2025 my youngest son had Kibar who also was great, he had the dance floor rocking all night long. It's a shame it was over so quickly. Just my opinion .

We knew we wanted a DJ with familiarity with indie rock, which would serve as the soundtrack to our specific wedding. We were so fortunate to come across DJ Ben Clapp of 2 Clapps DJ. From the very first e-mail exchange, we knew we were on the right track as Ben was responsive, professional, and just an overall standup person. He understood our needs and assured us he could meet our expectations. He did basic MC duties typical of a wedding. We sent him examples of our preferred playlist: Postal Service, Ratatat, Hot Chip, etc. He was incredible in deciphering the overall mood of the crowd and talented in mixing. He got the non-dancing side of the family, dancin'! We were specific about our preferred music but we are confidant that DJ Clapp is the type of person who can seamlessly adapt and work with you in any genre. His rates are reasonable. We cannot recommend 2 Clapps DJ Services, LLC highly enough - our upmost compliments and gratitude.

Ben knew exactly what to play to get everyone up on their feet. The transition between songs was seamless and song after song was simply the perfect choice! We felt confident with Ben from the moment we met him and even more so when he shared with us his DJ song document. On the document we filled out exactly what special songs we wanted for things such as the ceremony and any "do not play" and "must play" songs for the reception. It was all very organized! His prices are affordable and a true steal for the service he provides. Included in his pricing were dance floor lights which really added to the experience. Guests were raving about Ben the whole night. Choose 2 Clapps DJ Service; you will be soooo happy you did!

We had been to several weddings where the DJ was really cheesy, didn't play the right songs, etc. Clyde was nothing like that. He met with us prior to our wedding to go over all the details and was very helpful because we didn't have all our choices figured out yet. The music he played was great, something for everyone and he's very cool and polished as a DJ, not cheesy though which we loved. I've recommended him to my friends and my company is hiring Encore DJs for our holiday party too. I definitely recommend Encore DJ Services to anyone looking for a great DJ.

He made nice with our other vendors & even gave them a hand with certain parts of the night. Overall, Jon played some nice music & had a great light display during the reception part of the night. Cons: There were some big mistakes during the wedding that really made the day not go according to plan. Unfortunately, some of these mistakes really took away from our wedding experience. When I hired Jon, he assured me that he was very detail-oriented & would be calling me at least 1 week before the wedding to review all the timelines/details/etc. We never spoke on the phone after our initial talk in August 2015 when I booked him (the wedding was 13 months later). I brought up the review phone call several times & Jon frequently said "yes, soon", but it never happened. I believe that if he had followed through with that call, some of these big mistakes would not have happened: 1. He did not play our recessional. We walked down the aisle in silence. This was the absolute worst part of the wedding & something I have been deeply upset about since. Jon explained that his battery died and he didn't have a back-up. 2. You could barely hear the processional music, which was something I brought up as a concern several times during the planning process. 3. Jon did not stick to the schedule. A family friend had to prompt him throughout the night for speeches, dances, energetic music to get people on the floor, etc. Our dinner ended up running very late & many people left just as the reception had started because it had gone on too long already. Overall, Jon was a good DJ. I would recommend him for some events, but not for DIY weddings where you are relying on the DJ to MC the guests through the schedule. Also, I would not recommend using his services at any remote locations with minimal electricity that would require battery-packs.

We could not have been happier with either the process of these arrangements or the performance of the musicians. Jonathan patiently helped us to define our specifications and then found the ideal people to provide piano and string music throughout the evening. From 6 until 11, there was beautiful music, a delightful mix of classical and classic pop, exactly what we'd wished for. I was not aware of breaks without coverage. The attention paid to the acoustics and the selections allowed conversation to continue and the flow of the evening to be enhanced. Emcee services were included and delivered competently and warmly. Jonathan and his musicians, Joe Deleault on keyboard and emcee and Gary Hodges on cello and his violinist (whose name I do not know, unfortunately) share my highest recommendation with Jonathan.
