I would never refer this gym to anyone! Also, I went there some months back with my son who is 13. The guy working there at the time said it was illegal for minors to be in the gym under 16. Which I know is a lie. I went back later to cancel my membership and the lady was trying to talk to me about memberships for minors, she said he is able to come but he would need a membership, which costs the same as my membership. I am not paying over $40 for a membership for my minor son. this place is ridiculous!! Do not bother!

And this is only my latest experience with this worthless customer service department. All in the effort to exercise at a place where machines break down and lockers dont lock.

I would guess that there were 6 or 7 bikes with 1 or 2 not working well or out of service. Since the recent equipment upgrade, there are only 2 basic upright bikes, and one has been out of service 2 times since installation. I am age 70, in recovery mode indefiniately, with nerve issues affecting my lower body (neuropothy), and hip trouble. Non-weight-bearing excercise is what I (and others) need. We simply want to remain mobile by hopping on the bike for 30 minutes or so and keep blood flowing to our lower extremities. Treadmill is not the answer and recumbent bikes are not comfortable for the hip. The Norwich location needs more upright bikes. Most staff that I have spoken to agree.

I have taken a number of Cheryl's classes too. She has a dynamite style, always encouraging. Helen teaches Yoga Tune Up. If you have not taken this type of class before it is a must. Those little tune up balls get into every nook and cranny helping to work out oohs and ahhs you didn't even know you had. And Helen is fab, positive, encouraging, eager to laugh.
