I started consulting with Dr Gerut about 8 years ago when he was in NY. I was in my 50's at the time and not quite ready to have anything done. He was honest with me from the start. Well I'm now 60 and was so happy he was opening a surgical spa in DelRay. I knew he was the only one who I would trust when I had my neck and jawline lifted. I consulted with him again and arranged to have the procedure done. I'm now 2 weeks recovered after the surgery, my results were amazing. He took a photo I gave him from when I was in my 30's and used that as a guide. I couldn't be more pleased with the amount of care and concern he showed me afterwards as he still checks up on me. He corresponded with me daily to send him pictures of how I was progressing. His bedside manner impeccable. I can't praise him enough for his expertise as he has years of experience. I highly recommend him if you are looking for a mini lift. He's the best! Also his staff was great setting up everything and answering questions when needed. 5 stars is not enough I give him 10* read more

Gerut Zachary E - Julie Pandolf 77 years young! - Cosmetic Surgeons Near Me - Hewlett, New York

For the past 10 years, I have been dreaming of a tummy tuck. Unfortunately,my dream was put on hold. I was in a life altering car accident, which left me with multiple surgeries and 65 pounds heavier. A few years ago, I made a consultation appointment with Top Plastic surgeon Dr. Gerut. I was greeted with a security intercom asking who I was, then buzzed in. Immediately, I was greeted with a warm smile from office management. I felt such a sense of relief. I already knew this was the place I needed to be. I had my consultation. It's the first time I experienced honesty. I needed to lose weight. He explained to me kindly why I wasn't a good candidate at this time. 3 years later, I lost 65 pounds. 3 years later, I was greeted again with the same warmth smiles. I was approved for surgery and booked that day. I had a tummy tuck, liposuction, thigh lift, and fat transfer. It's not even 2 weeks post-op. If l look this amazing now, I can't wait for the summer. He's truly a gifted plastic surgeon. I am also thankful for those warm smiles from 3 years ago that made my decision that much easier. Dreams do come true. read more

I have been seeing Dr Gerut for 25 years now, he is truly the kindest most genius plastic surgeon, explaining every option in detail, making me feel so comfortable. The staff is amazing,, Olivia & Mindy are the most helpful, sweet & accommodating. I have sent over 50 people to this office over the years and everyone comes back to me to thank me raving about the their results and the office staff etc. I Must mention Jessica as well. I wouldnt go to anyone else for all my aesthetic (botox, filler etc) needs. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!! read more

I have never experienced any office like this! The girl Olivia was so rude when I was giving her my CC information for a procedure I asked for Dr Gerut to give me a call and he was so so rude and had the never to say to me my employee Oliva is not rude and I said yes she was. He then proceeds to tell me WELL YOU EXPECT ME TO DO SURGERY ON YOU NOW after saying that! I said that's up to you and he said the ANSWER no!! BEWARE DONT GO TO HIM. Very very condescending and nasty! Don't use him!!!! read more

I came to this practice because I was referred by 2 separate former patients of Dr. Gerut. One of the women at the hair salon I went to when I lived in Long Beach, NY said he is amazing. Another woman who had a neck lift is a friend of a friend and a fussy type person so when she recommends someone you know they are good! I came in to meet the doctor with my oldest son. We had a consult and we felt that looking at the before and after pictures it was definitely worth the cost and the inconvenience of surgery to fix my neck. I felt comfortable and confident with Dr. Gerut after our first meeting. The next question was how do I get aftercare since I live in Seattle Washington. My son in NY said I could stay with him and he would take care of me. I called Mindy the practice Office Manager and asked her if she thought that was a good idea or would it be advantageous to stay with a friend. Mindy stated clearly that my best friend living on LI would be the way to go. So I booked my surgery and got a one way ticket from Seattle to NY because I didn't know how long the recuperation would be. The date was going to be October 31 and I was scheduled to fly in a few days before. My best friend hocked me to call the office and see if I need to get any meds or pre surgical testing done. I did all that. Then I realized that I needed to get back to Seattle cause all my children are coming to me for Thanksgiving! See why my Ex-husband nicknames me Lucy (Lucille Ball) anyway I asked the office if there was any way they could get my surgery done sooner cause I was flying to NY 10/22 and would be available anytime after that date. I got a call form Mindy saying they made accommodations for me and I could have surgery 10/24. I went in for the operation a bit nervous but total faith in this practice. Karina their nurse explained all the medication that I would be taking and dosing instructions. Since they allowed me to do the procedure a week early she rushed the prescriptions to my NYC pharmacy and when they didn't have one of the meds she followed up to make sure it would be available the next day. Unbelievable care from Karina and amazing follow Thru! She told me to discontinue certain other meds that I normally take and spent time on the phone explaining every detail that I should expect post op. When I got to the office on 10/24 Jessica took pictures of me and a video tape to show before pictures prior to procedure. She too was calming and lovely. I don't know how this Doctor got such a wonderful team of professional people working here. It's too be noticed and really cherished. One person was kinder than the next. So Jessica had me fill out forms and the operation took place in Hewlett. The doctor had a surgical center right behind his office. The anesthesiologist was also very caring and Professional. He called me the night before surgery and we talked about my prior problem with anesthesia when I had a hysterectomy several years ago. He told me not to worry and I didn't worry. When I met him o knew I was in great hands! So I get out of surgery 3 hours later. Originally I was going to just do my neck. After talking with Dr. Gerut and my son I de used to so chin implants as well, and the day of surgery Dr. Gerut suggested filling in some space that was on both sides of my temples. (He didn't even charge me for that! ). He also did a facial peel (free of charge). My best fiend drive me back to her home and I took one pain pill that night. I was swollen and a bit uncomfortable but my pain was minimal. on a scale of. 1 to 10 I would say a 2. The next day no pain at all! I took some pictures and I was swollen and a bit discolored but felt amazing. By day 2 I could not sit still and started walking all over Dix Hills! Anyway it's day 6 and my neck looks perfect. the chin area is a bit swollen and discolored but I feel great! I have never seen such a caring medical practice in my life. ( I was a Pharmaceutical Rep and sold medical equipment as a career). All I can say is that if you need a Plastic Surgeon and you are a bit nervous or undecided and wish to speak to someone about their experience, call them and ask to speak to the nurse Karina. Or better yet, ask them for my phone number! I'll tell you straight up this was so much better than I expected! They are caring, considerate and above all amazing perfectionists! I went back Monday after having surgery on Thursday and Dr. Gerut was not thrilled with one side of the temples so he added some fat to it and I am going back Monday to have stitches taken out. I have all the confidence in the world in this group and am so grateful for their Professionalism and their attitude! Above and Beyond!!!! JF read more

From the time that I walked into Dr. Gerut's office for the first time until now, I have been treated so well by everyone- staff alike. Dr. Gerut and I decided that I would benefit from a facelift, eyelift, necklift and a chemical peel. After the surgery, if it wasn't for the peel, I could have been out within three days. I had NO pain and NO bruising-just some swelling. I never took more than Tylenol. The results are incredible and sooo natural. read more

Dr. Zachary Gerut by far, is the most humbled and dedicated professional I have met to date (and I've met many). His work is incredible and he is a perfectionist through and through. I must say, his goodness, kindness and decency as a human being is very much in line with his skills and insight as a surgeon. There is no way that anyone will be disappointed with him as their surgeon of choice. His office manager, Robin and the rest of the staff are second to none. They work cohesively and always seem to go the extra mile. In an office where most of the clientele appear to be very high end, I, coming from very humble means, can walk in there, unintimidated, knowing very well the care and the help I receive will be equal to all else. For these things and especially for him, I am very grateful. read more

Dr. Gerut is a truly genuine person, a dedicated Doctor who will not stop until he brings a smile to his patient's face. I wasn't smiling for quite a while before I met Dr. Gerut, but it all changed soon after I came to his office for a consultation. He showed me that making a difference begins with one person at a time. The successful Breast Surgery Correction I had with Dr. Gerut, symbolized for me, a new beginning and a rebirth. It had meanings of overcoming a deep personal crisis. It began over a year ago, when I was going through separation after 15 years of marriage, having 2 young kids at home. I had Breast Augmentation Surgery for all the wrong reasons with a Plastic Surgeon in Brooklyn. The Doctor and his office manager were aware of my nervous breakdown at that time and still, did not accept my wish to cancel the surgery. Furthermore, the office manager threatened that if I cancelled the surgery, I would lose my deposit. (1/3 of the surgery cost). At that time I was fighting in so many battle fields that I gave up, and went into the surgery hoping never to wake up. Within six months after the initial surgery, Capsules Level 3 formed in one breast. The left breast became as hard as a rock and distorted in shape. Having to go through another surgery with a statistic of only 50% success was not easy, emotionally or physically. Going through the Correction Surgery with the same surgeon was not an option. I was searching for a Top Doctor, but this time, for a Doctor with a heart. Dr. Gerut performed the surgery on me successfully after he felt that I was completely comfortable with the decision and timing. We met for a few consultations and discussed all the options and the recovery process. I remember on surgery day closing my eyes before the anesthesia with a smile, waiting to wake up for Life. I knew that he would perform his very best and I felt safe. His office team was very supportive as well. They took my concerns and phone calls seriously and got back to me with answers. Dr. Gerut was available at all times. I could go on and on about the constant support and care I received from Dr. Gerut and his staff. Sometimes we go through an experience that turns our life completely around. This was my experience with Dr. Gerut. I learned never to lose hope, because for every person that doesn't care, there is one that cares. read more
