TLDR; Overall mostly par for the course experience in purchasing a car at a dealership. All loose…read moreends resolved within a week. Fastest resolution yet. Really nice and friendly people in all departments. General experience: The location of the dealership is very convenient. The inside was clean, and the cars we test drove were in clean condition. Everyone seemed nice, although we didn't really interact with anyone other than Brent and Sam. Sales experience: We worked with Brent. He was very easy going and not uptight, unlike other salespeople we've worked with in the past that wore full suits and were so formal to the point of making us a bit uncomfortable. He did his best to make this an easy process and was accommodating, despite our availability always having been very close to end of the day. Financing experience: We worked with Sam for the tail end of negotiation and financing. We made sure to send everything ahead to make the process easier, but Sam also worked hard to make things as easy and painless as possible. We were extremely dreading the financing stage, as for our past cars, we were stuck at hours at this stage. But nope. Sam made it as painless, while explaining and answering any questions we had. Delivery experience: When we came for delivery, we signed paperwork, and we were thankful that Brent and Sam had made it very streamlined. It was toward the end of the day, so we were all kind of tired. When I got home, I noticed that a couple things that were listed as add ons on the window sticker were missing, so I reached out. The resolution was quick on these. Overall buying experience: Overall, it was painless, but we were also not really trying to extract every dime, and there were a couple loose ends to be tied up, but those were resolved within a week. I have yet to have a single car buying experience that did not require a follow up from us to get some loose ends tied up, but this is one of the more minor (albeit still a few hundred dollars worth) loose end in comparison to my other experiences. Everyone is nice and made it super easy, so if for nothing, just drop by and see what they have and what they can do for you. Might not end up being the best deal in the country that you end up getting, but it will be a decent enough deal and they make it as easy to get through the process as you help them to make it. Add on: Also, shout out to (I think it was) Tyler at the parts department. He is super helpful and gets the job done. Helped me find a part I wanted and checked the stock for me too and knew exactly what I was talking about when I headed in to purchase it. Another add on: The service people (so sorry, I am so bad with names...) are really nice and from talking to them, it seems they really care about taking care of their customers, unlike many of the other dealerships I've had the displeasure of dealing with. The jury's still out on whether the actual service work will be good, but with the vibes this place has and the positive attitude that the employees seem to have, I have a positive outlook on how the service currently underway will turn out.

Service told us they do not have the part and have to order. So said part was ordered and come to find out there are 4 different ones so finding one for our car is going to be hard to get. We have a loaner car it starts to act up and was told to bring it to the dealership. We do and they give us a Hyundai Santa Fe. It was dirty. So it is brought to their attention so they give us the Santa Cruz. That car is disgusting. It looked like soda was spilled over the seats and a booger on the center console. While waiting cars to be "cleaned". We see our car in the parking lot. It's been unlocked. We about had a heart attack because it looked like it was a parts car. Took pictures because this was unbelievable that a customer's car would be treated so poorly. The head rests were out in the elements. The passenger seat is just gone. The dash and everything is ripped out in the front. You can clearly see that a metal tool was used to pry off the plastic. The personal items are just thrown in the back. The subwoofer that was in the way back is scratched because stuff was thrown on it. The service manager is a joke. She rolls her eyes at the customer who clearly has a reason to be unhappy. This dealership needs a refresher course in how to provide outstanding customer service support. Weeks later the car is "fixed". Go to see the car with management. They are ordering parts for the parts that were scratched. We are still finding more things messed up. The next day it seems like management has just washed their hands of this issue. They would rather just write a check instead of resolving the issue correctly. We were told when the other things we found wrong we were told this isn't an open check book. We didn't expect our vehicle to get destroyed while being serviced. I just hope the happy customers who bought cars don't ever need to have anything major fixed on it. They will destroy your property and try to pay you to go away. Signed very unhappy customers!

LONG REVIEW BUT WORTH THE READ! A little less than a year…read moreago I began looking for a new Wrangler to replace my 2013 Sahara. I found a Jeep online that I was very much interested in. I called the dealership (Contemporary Automotive in Milford, NH) which was an hour and a half away and made an appt. to test drive a brand - new Wrangler. The telephone conversation with the dealer should have been my first clue to not make the drive. The person I spoke with was not friendly at all and was not able to answer many of my questions. When I arrived, I was barely noticed from the start and did not end up buying a Jeep because they offered a ridiculously low trade in amount for my Sahara and plus they just seemed disinterested in working with me and I had no idea why. I could go on and on about my horrible experience at this dealership...but this review is not for Contemporary Automotive, it is for Key Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram of Lebanon!! Fast forward several months to when I decide to give trading in my Jeep another shot. I found the exact Jeep I had been looking for online. I called Key to inquire and was lucky enough to speak with the friendliest, most helpful salesperson I have ever worked with! Casey Bonas was attentive and extremely helpful from the first phone call up to the sale (and even the day after the sale was finalized) on my beautiful 2021 Wrangler Willys. The Jeep I purchased was in-transit already. The application process went seamlessly via phone and text. Casey made sure to cover every detail before I ever even entered the showroom. He sent me weekly updates on the status of my vehicle's transport. Our phone, text message and email conversations were always friendly and positive. Casey REALLY listens!! On the day before my Jeep was delivered, I had a late night panic attack after reading a bad review in which a customer of Key was in the process of purchasing an in-transit vehicle and the deal suddenly fell apart. I emailed Casey to ask questions about this person's experience and wondered if it could happen to me. He responded first thing in the morning to reassure me that things were fine. I actually had nothing to worry about because shortly later he text me pictures of my new Jeep sitting in the Key parking lot. Ironically, while I was up late worrying about the deal falling through, my car was being delivered! People, don't believe everything you read. If a deal falls through, there has to be more to the story than what the person who is telling it is letting on! Later in the day, my husband and I made the hour-long drive to Lebanon to trade our old Jeep in for the new one. Casey greeted us with a huge smile and a steady handshake at the door. My husband enjoyed talking cars with Casey, as they are both car enthusiasts. He showed us some very cool cars that he thought my husband would like to see, not to buy buy, just to check out (although I am sure he would greatly appreciate us buying a 100K vehicle :)). Casey had my new Jeep ready to test drive, the paperwork in order and he answered all of our questions without hesitation. Jonathan in finance (another very nice guy) helped us through the paper work and we were out the door and driving my awesome new rig within an hour of arriving! Everything went seamlessly - well, except for one thing...everything went by so fast that I managed to forget my purse in the finance office and drove home without it! I text Casey late that night to let him know and he responded immediately. I made the hour drive back to Lebanon to retrieve my purse the next morning. Casey was there, big smile and purse in hand! He even took a few extra moments to help me set up the Bluetooth Connectivity in my Jeep without me asking. SO HELPFUL!!! I am so happy with my experience at Key! My husband and I will be back to purchase his next vehicle...probably not for that 100k Jeep Grand Cherokee...but maybe for one a little less pricey . They stated rust and metal on metal in the rear. I checked myself, rear pads needed replacement, the fronts weren't even close. All rotors were fine had some minor surface rust near the hub. I can only assume they believed I am not able to know the difference. This is after I had some service not too many miles ago in which the pads should have been caught. Shouldn't you be able to trust the local dealership you purchased your car at?

I recently had a horrible service experience…read more I called to schedule an appointment and told them that I have the VW care maintenance plan and needed to schedule the recommended maintenance and an oil change (the oil change needed notification popped up on my car). I was scheduled for an oil change and tire rotation and alignment. There was no mention that the recommended maintenance would not be covered by the MAINTENANCE plan. I let them know that I would pick the car up after work that day, around 7pm. There was no mention that that would be an issue. On Wednesday 8/12, I dropped my car off in the morning before my shift. On the slip, I wrote that I would pick the car up at noon if it was ready, otherwise I would pick it up after 7. I called during my lunch break at noon and they said it would not be ready. I reiterated that I have the maintenance plan to pay for the services. There was no mention that the services were not covered. I again told them I would pick the car up after work, after 7. They told me the keys would be left in the car with the paperwork when I came to pick it up. A bit after 7, I arrived to pick my car up. There was nobody there except for one mechanic. My car had been locked and the mechanic could not find the keys. I was stranded in a parking lot for 45 minutes while a family member brought the spare key so I could finally go home. While I was waiting, I saw that I had a voicemail from them that I missed because I was working (which I had told them I would be 3 times by then). The voicemail made no mention of payment needed. The next day, I received a voicemail that they heard I was able to pick up my car last night and I needed to call back to "settle up." I returned to the dealership to pick up my key that they still had. I was then told that I had to pay $130 for services that I thought would be covered under my maintenance plan before they could give me my key back. Again, it was NEVER mentioned that the recommended maintenance services would not be covered under the maintenance plan when I scheduled the appointment or when I checked in to see if my car was ready. The only service that was covered was the oil change. The "solution" to their "disconnect" was to sign me up for text messages, so that next time I was working and could not answer the phone, they could just text me instead. Extremely unacceptable solution to making a customer wait in a parking lot while it was getting dark and wasting over an hour of my time after a long shift. The GM knows about this incident and has not reached out to offer an acceptable solution or to apologize, which just goes to show how much they care about their customers. I am thoroughly disappointed by the experience I had with them. My service and that of my family and friends will be going elsewhere from now on.

VT (we live in Essex, VT). She had the TPMS sensor go off within 20 miles of returning home. Additionally, the high beams didn't work nor did the left turn signal indicator. The vehicle had a new VT state inspection sticker on it and has now been serviced at Key in South Burlington as well as Heritage Ford twice. The problems are yet to be resolved. All this over a couple parts that cost a few hundred dollars. This is one of 4 vehicles we use for our business and you can bet that Heritage Ford and Key will not see any further vehicle sales from us again. The lack of customer service is terrible and the excuses as well as delays are endless. As a business owner myself I would NEVER put a customer through this much. The vehicle has spend more time as service repair locations than with us! I highly recommend looking elsewhere for your next vehicle and avoiding repairs at either of these dealerships at all costs. Couple of things, they prey of people with no idea of mechanical knowledge…read more If you go for an alignment, they will try to sell you shocks. If you go for a ball joint, they will sell you control arms. They will say, it will be impossible to do the job without the upgrade. They prefer to use their source for parts because they make upwards of 30% on that brand. Lastly, they will charge you $50 for 2 rags and 1.00 worth of break fluid. My advise, go somewhere else for the same price.
