They have a unique blend of items ranging from candles, jewelry, books, clothing and soaps made in the shape of male/female genitalia. Walked in here with my wife and youngest daughter who is 19 months old. My daughter kept herself entertained by climbing on there bran bag chairs and looking at a tall free standing mirror in the shop. My wife mainly browsed the candles and jewelry. She ultimately got a scented camera that was moderately priced and it smells really good. We've been using it the last few days and it is strong and does well. The shop had a lot of proud African American merch Ranging from clothes to books to local art. So that was really cool to see. Overall cool and unique shop and on the day we went a certain portion of our purchase went to a charity so that was really nice. They had me manually enter my credit car number so they can make sure the charity got the portion. Everyone here was really nice and we are satisfied with our candle. The genitalia soap threw us off and kinda glad we had our youngest with us as we normally have all our daughters with us and that may been awkward. Maybe sometime or warning sign or located in a place that isn't on a table in the center of the merchandise would suffice. If they had one I did not see it. But other then that it would be a place I'd happily take my kids to check out and shop for items.

Pocket Change is a program of the nonprofit Change Today Change Tomorrow. It provides local, Black-owned businesses a storefront residency to gain exposure and increase their customer base, as well as hosting small business workshops and other pop-up rental space. Talking to some of the staff while I was there, I was impressed to hear how they want Pocket Change to be a hub of community outreach and support. Regarding the retail items, it had some racks in the front and on the sidewalk that were well stocked with items. I bought some tea from Sis Got Tea and also saw coffee from West Lou Coffee and nut and seed butters from Wells Made Co. It also had T-shirts, stickers, jewelry, lotion and more. It was fun to browse. If you're in the area, you should definitely stop by and find some new businesses to support.

Of course we were intrigued with two grand babies due in late October - December. This establishment not only features excellent quality furniture but a host of extra decor to complete a kids room. A quick U-turn (shhh, don't tell!) and we were ready to see what was waiting inside. Inside was a wonderful array of baby cribs, changing tables, bureaus, strollers, rocking chairs and gliders, and so much more. The furniture appeared to be well-made and much nicer that that at the big box stores. Price points vary and financing is available. I was told that delivery with assembly is available and the staff member mentioned Lexington, Bardstown and a few other places to which they had recently delivered. In addition to furniture they had a nice selection of mobiles, crib sheets and other nursery items. They also carry bunkbeds and other furniture for older children. This is a great store for expectant parents, grandparents, foster families, and anyone needing children's furniture. The store is located on Shelbyville Rd in Middletown and has dedicated parking.

They a lot of Jewelry including: Tulsi wood necklaces and Real Rudra beads, fresh and perfect ( : They have Nepali breads you can't get at the other international stores among other cooking items and hard to find oils. Lots of ladies care items. Brass pots, cook ware and fruits and vegs And I they have a few slot machines in a private area as well. I have bought a lot of Sanskrit text books (puranas) over the years, the owner is vary nice and doesn't hover over me like some small stores do, and he often gives me a better price as I love to translate them and extract the sacred knowledge that I try to incorporate in my everyday life which isn't easy in today's world. You CANNOT GET them anywhere else or online so I'm grateful. They have nice idols of Hinduism Buddhism and bon, lots of rare traditionally handmade incense wrapped in pure silk from Tibet that patel brothers never carry can would coast you double if your lucky enough to find online but if your like me (I gotta do a smell test first) which is of course impossible online.
