I had not wanted to spend much on the trip -- and, well, Blush on Main ended that fantasy pretty quickly. Blush on Main has racks and racks of beautiful women's clothes and accessories. If it weren't for being pregnant, I may have revelled in these racks a bit more. My sister-in-law, though, found a few items to try on here. What I really loved was Blush on Main's hat collection. I'm a sucker for a great hat (for proof, see my main Yelp profile pic). This shop had a few varieties that were particularly good for more regular wear, such as when outside at home, at farmers markets, on vacation, etc. I found a straw hat with a blue band that I had to have. It cost around $45, I believe, which was over my budget for the day (see the second paragraph above) but not so much to break the bank. I forked over my credit card, and I wore the hat the rest of the day. My sister-in-law and mother-in-law also got great hats. There are several locations, and this one is located in the Hamburg area near Tractor Supply as a landmark. The drop off is on the right hand side of the building and can pull up and employees will collect the donated goods. They have signage directing where to enter the single drop off lane. There are also posted signs listing what can and cannot be donated. Staff are polite and helpful. I have not been inside the building or made a purchase to this point, so I cannot comment on that aspect of this business. I do know that the mission statement has been to sell donated items and then to utilize those funds to assist victims of abuse, which has our support 100%. (Side note: I also choose to donate here rather than at another specific well known charitable drop-off site which has high prices and high administrative costs, resulting in less funds going to the people it claims to serve.)

Crestwood Mercantile is a high scale peddlers mall and a great mix of new and old finds. We spotted several things we loved checking out, some we wish we could convince ourselves to splurge on. Other things were interesting and some nostalgic. Most vendors are related to home decor but some include women's or kids clothing. I left with an older coffee grinder - the style I'd been looking to find for a long time. I'm excited to display it at my home. Value will vary from booth to booth, item to item. Some vendors promoted a discount. Very friendly service and a place for customer holds while you shop. Every booth was beautifully displayed and easy to shop.
