I spied this place once while driving by and decided to look it up. The Yelp reviews were super…read morepositive, and I love a meat market that also sells prepared foods and has a cafe element. We were very warmly greeted by a gentleman who I think must be an owner or major stakeholder. He gave us a quick history of the place and was fast to recommend the prime rib po boy sandwich. We ordered one to split, and it came with seasoned fries. The sandwich came out quickly, and the meat was tender with just the right amount of slightly spicy horseradish sauce. Yum. I definitely want to come back for the signature prime rib on a Friday or Saturday. That meatloaf sounds tempting too, and the brisket mac and cheese caught my eye. Looks like I will need to come back a few times.

No More Brunch - at least on Sundays - Website not updated yet…read more Must be a new thing because in the short time we were there, a couple other tables came in then left once they found out the Brunch Menu was not available. We were starving so stayed and had catfish plate and smoked turkey sandwich. This is the first time we were not super satisfied with our meals. Maybe it was because we were looking forward to brisket tacos & chicken & waffles. We had great service from Nathan! We grabbed some meat to bring home. Love making griddle burgers with the flurry grind.

If you ever get attracted by these colorful candies, go do yourself a favor and walk over to candy world or It'Sugar. Reason? The man, I suppose owner, is super pushy but at the same time trying to be nice to get you to buy more. He'll suggest the heaviest candy to you even after you say no. Unfortunately I can be super gullible when it comes to sweets. Yes, I got convinced to buy this gummy rope that is over a pound in weight. I didn't bag it myself so didn't know it was heavy but the owner did of course. My total came out to be $18 for a gummy rope and a small batch that would cost around $5 at Sweet Factory. Reason #2 why you should go to anther store... the gummies became hard after a few days which I've never experienced with other shops. I hope this saves someone from spending a crap load here. At $2.99 per quater pound, I still feel like my bag was not 1.5 lbs. Who knows... Just be careful
