As a vegetarian, I had the ravioli one night and the pesto pasta another. The other 5 in my party had pretty much everything on the menu, and we all raved about it. The main course comes with a generous portion of salad (one night the salad was a tomato salad, one night a leafy green salad). Both nights we devoured the salads and couldn't believe the size or quality of them. Alex, the server, was so kind and helpful. It was truly a remarkable dining experience. Food was great and the service was on par with typical busy German restaurants. Only thing difficult was the menu in German ( I know! We managed with a translator it just took forever) so I would suggest looking ahead of time if you are in a rush to order!

The restaurant is right near the bahnhof and if you can't find street parking there is a nearby garage. The food, service and ambiance were just as we remembered. We were greeted and welcomed by a hostess, server and even the owner. You can tell there are a lot of regular local customers. We had lunch specials that included tomato soup. The schnitzel was thin, light and perfectly prepared and so were the fries. Some of the best I've ever found. Worth a stop anytime we're near Koblenz.
