Never heard of a body shop that refused to give a quote! Also owner was rude when he found that it was an insurance claim he refused to even look at my truck. Told it would not matter that the insurance company would do their own thing!! Well they did not. I got me 3 quotes sent in we agreed On the middle one. Terrible customer service and operating with loose morals and business ethics. After completing the service of my vehicle I was informed it was ready for pick up. However with the recent snow storm which has been one of the worst this state has seen in many years, I was unable to safely make a trip to pick it up. After multiple attempts I was unable to contact them, guessing they were closed as no one ever answered the phone. Then I was finally contacted by a lady named Louise and told that they would be charging me a $240 STORAGE FEE. So they wanted me to drive in the middle of an ICE/SNOW STORM to pick up my vehicle from their CLOSED location. Thanks. read more

I was reccomend this body shop by a friend after I was in an accident and decided to have my truck towed to them after reading a few reviews...worst decision ever! It took them over THREE WEEKS just to do the quote on my truck. Then their inexperience was on display. They were claiming my new low milage truck as a total loss. After going over the quote with my insurance we found SEVERAL discrepancies and parts that weren't damaged during the accident. My agent agreed to have the truck sent to another shop for a second opinion. It only took the new shop 1 day to call back saying the damage was all body work and far from totaled. BUT it doesn't end there, Gerber had already started stripping my truck for parts, and when confronted about my missing tailgate and interior panels I would get hung up on, lied to, and ignored about getting them returned to the the shop so we could continue with repairs. After almost 4 weeks we were finally able to get the parts back that they STOLE off my truck. I would not reccomend them to my worst enemy. read more

This place charged $240 for storage when I couldn't pick a vehicle up during the worst winter weather Oklahoma has ever seen. Schools, banks, and stores were closed, but they still wanted to rack up storage fees. Heck, the state was asking anyone who didn't have to get out to stay home. Unfortunately, Gerber Collision didn't care. They originally wanted to charge me $500!!!!! just for storing a Jeep they repaired, since we couldn't get there due to weather. Eventually they settled for $240, after hanging up on me and being extremely rude on the phone. I DEFINITELY would not recommend ANYONE to EVER do business with this place. read more

My wife's car got backed into while we were at church we ended up going to Gerber collision. They were very professional and informative as far as how long it would be before completion. They even collected the loose change in the car and made sure we got that back when they were done fixing the car door. I'd definitely recommend Gerber for repairs on your vehicle. read more

I was very underwhelmed by the service that I got at Gerber. I called to schedule a date to drop off my car and when I called again on that day I was told that I hadn't been scheduled and would have to wait even extra time. Due to various part problems I went from being told I would pick my car up on a Wednesday, the a Friday, then the following Tuesday I actually picked it up (this was after it had been in there for at least a week.) All together it was over 2 weeks that my car was in the shop, and to top it all off when I went to pick it up the battery was completely dead. In addition, the trunk liner wasn't lined up right and they had to poke it back in before I left with it. All in all I'd imagine that you could get much better customer service from another body shop. read more

Wow!! I'm still in shock at how dishonest this company is!! I recently peeled the pin stripe off my car and I thought I had taken the paint off with it. I went to Gerber for an estimate on how much it would be to buff out and touch up the strip that I "thought" was missing. After taking pictures of my vehicle and looking it over the man told me i was looking at a paint job costing somewhere around $1500!! I left and went to Auto Paint Supply where I met a man named Berry who does detail work, he looked at my car...laughed...took a cloth with M3 adhesive remover on it and the adhesive glue from the pin stripe came right up!! There was absolutely no need for any paint touch up!! The strip I thought was missing paint was actually just left over adhesive. Seems like Gerber would have known that??! The whole ordeal just made me think Gerber was taking advantage of me being a young woman read more
