Hansen Collision did an incredible job on our truck and it was no small job--in fact it was huge! We have a 2004 Chevy Duramax Diesel. Some dude ran the light at 68th and Lake Michigan Drive and hit us. Insurance didn't total it but the frame was bent. They actually replaced the frame on our truck. They devoted two bays to our truck and they carefully assembled it and did an incredible job. The truck was very clean even after two full cups of coffee were spilled all over it. They even did a check up on it two weeks later. It did take two months to get it back but they were completely assembling and reassembling a truck. It ran great and we would go back in a heart beat! You couldn't be the service! read more

The folks here were life savers. I hit a curb this week and the bottom of my front bumper was coming off. In a panic, I came in right before they closed, needing help because I had a 6+ hour road trip the next day. They helped me and made it so that I could still go on my trip, despite my late arrival, and were super friendly about it too. Quick, friendly, and helpful service. Hopefully I don't need to ever go back, but if I do I will be more than happy giving these guys my business. read more

Hansen Collision of Allendale will NOT be a place I will ever recommend to any one ever. I got into a car crash and I brought my car there to get look at and they looked at the bare minimum of every thing. After looking at it I received a call from a man who sounded like a grump to tell me the damage. I asked a simple question about my brakes and he replied rudly that there not a brake shop so thats not his problem. I asked about a rental car and he said he didnt have any left, even though there was two parked out back. So i guess i was going to be out of a car. He told me that I can drive my own car untill he has time to fix it. That was going to be two weeks later. I told him I didnt want to drive a car that has plastic hanging and no left turn signal or left light. Hard to drive at night with only one light. Also very unsafe. Then he replied there is nothing I can do to help you with that. So after I was talked to like I was a child and treated with no respect, I called my insurance company and told them I was not going to stand for that and I did not want there business. So I brought my car some where eles. They are very UNPROFESSIONAL. read more

Worst experience! Horrible customer service... 0 Stars. I can't give them more than zero stars…read morebecause they never even got to do any work on my car. My insurance company told me to take my car in for an estimate. I drove it down there that day (six weeks ago) to get the estimate. The only thing they would do is set an appointment for an estimate, six weeks out. These clowns recently bought out an amazing local, community-minded body shop (CarStar). We used CarStar a few times over the years. You would drive the car in - they would send someone out to take photos of the damage... a few hours later, they emailed you and the insurance company the estimate and scheduled the work. Caliber makes you wait six weeks before they can even look at your car. After waiting six weeks, I am told, "Oh, your insurance company "usually" sends their estimator out to take photos and approve the repair. I explained that my insurance company was the one that told me to bring it into them in the first place. The receptionist explains, well - our Estimator Bill handles the estimates with your insurance company, and he says they have to come out. So call them and have them come out to look at your car, and then we can schedule a repair. I waited SIX WEEKS for this lazy crap. I called my insurance company back - they told me in no uncertain terms that they would work from the repair estimate from the body shop. Great - I'll do that, just not CALIBER. So much for trying to support my neighborhood business. I will find another - more reputable and customer-oriented shop.
