I've had Gerardi for several years. I always have excellent service. Folks are very pleasant, and they find good carriers at decent rates.

This is by far the worse insurance company in the north east Connecticut!!! I was a customer for several years. To make a long story short. The several years of being a good customer, I was unfortunate to have to report a claim because of a hurricane. They paid the claim to fix my roof. Then dropped me... If that wasn't bad enough, they called every insurance company and told them I was a Liability. Therefore blocking me from getting home owners insurance. Do not trust them at all!!! You will get screwed eventually!!! Guaranteed... read more

I just recently purchased a new home and needed a homeowners and auto policy with umbrella. I submitted an inquiry on their website and was immediately contacted by Ed. We discussed all of our needs in regards to policy limits and liability. By the end of the day, I received one quotation, which came in lower than anticipated. The next day he found an even better option with a different insurance. I was amazed with their level of customer service. I have even referred them to my friends and family. read more

This is the most horrible insurance company! My parents and I have both out our trust and money into them for year's. When I finally needed them because of storm damage to my roof. They payed the claim, and then dropped my coverage. And if that wasn't bad enough, they then called every insurance company everywhere and told them not to insure my home! Very very horrible company! Do not trust them!!! read more

Very unhelpful staff my rep Allison had no interest in helping once she learned I had used my home owners insurance in the past. After a internet search on my own managed to save 110 on my auto and 123 dollars a month on my home owners policy. I think local reps are becoming on necessary like newspapers! read more
