Those two teeth needed extraction and they were not going to do it and unless, I agreed to expensive implants. The problem, I'm 83 years old live on Social Security. There's no way I could pay $10,000. Then on December 20 with searing pain up into my nasal cavity from the tooth on the left and the molar on the right broke off eating breakfast. That was lucky. I had to seek urgent care on Saturday, the urgent care was at Aspen Dental. They took very good care of me, started me on antibiotics and on Monday I had the two bad teeth pulled. I have recovered. I am extremely grateful to Aspen Dental because the pain is gone and the broken off tooth now is extracted without a problem and I'm still on antibiotics, feeling pretty good. I had been to modern dentistry twice for the same two teeth, it's not the only problem I have had with this racket business, they constantly pushed unnecessary procedures. Usually I paid upfront and they still billed insurance. ITS A RACKET.

I rarely write reviews, but this experience deserves to be shared…read more My wife went to Winter Haven Modern Dentistry on September 30, 2025 for a tooth pain evaluation. She clearly informed the staff that she had undergone radiation treatment on her jaw 18 years ago. The office recommended an extraction and scheduled their oral surgeon for October 24, 2025. After waiting a full month, driving 45 minutes each way, and taking time off work, we arrived only to have the oral surgeon behave rudely and dismissively. He clearly had not read her medical history, refused to perform the procedure, and simply walked out without apology, empathy, or explanation. We then asked for a refund of the $200 down payment and the $3,073 financing plan that had been set up on September 24, 2025. The office agreed -- but weeks later, the loan was never canceled, the refund was never processed, and the office stopped responding. Now the finance company is asking us to pay for a service that was never provided, and our credit score is at risk because of the clinic's inaction. This has been one of the worst, most unprofessional dental experiences we've ever had. No compassion, no accountability, and no follow-through. I strongly urge anyone considering this office to be very cautious, verify all financial transactions, and ensure clear communication in writing before agreeing to any treatment plan.

Hello It is a pleasure to take this opportunity to highly recommend the team at Dental Associates…read moreof Winter Haven! I recently moved here and have been to dentists in Colorado, Santa Fe, and Atlanta and this one is by far the best! Everyone in the office has been so friendly yet professional. The office is immaculate and uses the most modern technology available. In addition, the value was exceptional because I had just been to a different local dentist who did not identify a major problem that would have been an extremely painful event in my future. I am also really happy about the prices which were actually lower than the other dentist who didn't even quote me on the major problem- a tooth that was cracked in 3 places and was just about to be an emergency. I can't thank the dental technicians enough for their patience and skill in dealing with me as well because of anxiety I had from other dentists who caused long term pain by not doing the job correctly in the past. Outstanding service by everyone involved! Thank you!

Paid the balance that insurance wouldn't pay up front at the time of service. 5 months later, I received a collection agency notification that I owe over $ 1,000. Called the office, and they said insurance didn't pay. We never received a call, email, or letter. They also said part of the balance owed was a $200 late fee added by the office. No communication from the office whatsoever. Never again...

Beautiful Vibes, Questionable Diagnosis…read more After extensive research, I chose Dream Dental Dentistry because of its glowing online reviews. I walked in expecting top-tier care. What I got was... an experience. Let's break it down. Lounge Area 10/10 on aesthetics. The waiting area is beautifully decorated, the chairs are comfortable, and the music was great. It felt more like a trendy lounge than a dental office. Clean, modern, thoughtfully designed. Honestly, if vibes could clean teeth, this place would be elite. Receptionist Hillary at the front desk was fantastic, friendly, warm, and genuinely welcoming. First impressions matter, and she absolutely delivered. Other Staff The team seemed happy and upbeat. At one point it felt like karaoke hour in the best way. You can tell the staff enjoys working together. The energy is light and positive, which is refreshing in a dental setting. Bathroom Clean and well-maintained. No complaints there. The Exam Process Here's where things shifted. The exam involved an excessive number of photos from multiple angles, tools holding my mouth open, extended time under bright lights. I understand documentation is important, but there was little explanation during the process. When I asked questions about what was going on, the responses felt vague and rushed. Then came the big reveal. The Diagnosis & Treatment Plan Instead of receiving the routine cleaning I scheduled, I was told my teeth were in poor condition and that I needed a more involved (and more expensive) procedure not covered by my insurance. The conversation felt less like healthcare guidance and more like a sales presentation. The focus seemed to shift toward upselling rather than addressing my primary reason for coming in. Dr. Carolina Londono did not come across as reassuring or transparent to me. Trust is huge in healthcare, and I simply didn't feel it in that moment. Second Opinion The next day, I went to my previous provider for a second opinion. Completely different experience. They disagreed with the assessment, performed a standard cleaning fully covered by insurance, and did not find the severe issues I was warned about. That contrast spoke volumes. Trust & Bedside Manner For me, bedside manner is about clarity, transparency, and feeling like your provider is advocating for your health, not your wallet. While the office excels in atmosphere and friendliness, I left feeling uneasy rather than confident. Final Thoughts Dream Dental absolutely wins on ambiance, music, and aesthetics. If I were reviewing it as a coworking space, it might get five stars. But when it comes to dental care, trust outweighs décor every time. If something feels off, get a second opinion. There are other trustworthy dental offices out there. I ended up going back to mine, and I'm glad I did. Read the reviews, but also listen to your instincts.

September 17, 2022…read more My complaint is against Dr. Viet Ho and his brother Dr. Vu Ho. They are both dentists, with an office in Winter Haven, FL. First, I went to Dr. Viet Ho. He was to replace a bridge that was loose. He was to cut the bridge out and make me a new one. Well, he was in a rush and he kept pulling and banging the bridge. Instead of just cutting it out. In order to save time, he bange and pulled. In doing this, he broke the teeth that held the bridge. So, now I have two teeth that have to be pulled out. I will also need a partial, something I never had and never wanted. The VA sent to him so I had to stay. With Community Care it is very hard to change doctors. I'm not finished yet. I need root cancel on another tooth. Dr. Viet Ho tells me Dr. Vu Ho is very good at root cancel work. So, he does the root canal. It's a tooth with two roots. He drills a hole in one root then he drills another hole that goes thru the side of the root and thru my gums into my mouth. He then drills another hole in the other root. He put three little picks in the three holes. He then takes an Xray to see what went wrong. His brother comes into the room and tells me I need gum surgery to fix the hole in my bottom of the root. I tell him I do not want gum surgery. Just put the crown on the tooth and let me go. So, my next appointment is for the crown to be replaced. He gives me Novocain to numb up my gums and does the gum surgery without my permission. Because I have VA, I have no voice in my care. So, where he did his gum surgery that tooth and the one next to it is bad because the gum that he cut never stays up and is peeling away from the teeth. I do not feel these two are dentists at all. VA should not use these two for veterans. They are very dishonest. John P. Dougherty 8772
