Dr. Moran came to the office to help me out and before I knew I was pain free again. I will be eternally thankful to him for this gesture. I don't know any other doctor that would come on his day off to help a patient as Dr. Moran did that weekend. Years later, I continue to have Dr. James Moran as my Orthodontist/Dentist. I called back and said that this must be a mistake, since another doctor (who is VERY reputable) charged me $65 for the same consultation. The only "prescription" the doctor gave me was to purchase an over the counter nasal spray. The other suggestion was to have a surgery performed by the doctor. When I asked how much the surgery would cost, the people at the office would not tell me. That is when I got the bill for $342, which I can only guess was a punishment for not saying yes to the surgery. Any time I called the office, they never returned my calls and never let me speak with the doctor. They were extremely rude and hostile on the phone and when I asked what the charges were for, the person at Dr Lebovits' office could not give me a straight answer. The only thing she said was that the charges would stand. After months of calling the office, I had to go there in person and negotiate the bill person. Customer Service = 0 Price = 0 Decency = 0 Conclusion = DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR, AND DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS IN THE PAPERWORK, WHICH THEY CLAIM ALLOWS THE OFFICE TO CHARGE YOU ANY AMOUNT THEY WANT WITH NO JUSTIFICATION REQUIRED. Dr. Lebovits treated me for an ear infection that my primary doctor did not resolve with…read moreantibiotics. I was lucky to be squeezed in same day - explaining that I have been in pain for a week. Dr. Lebovits treated performed a minor surgery in his office that day - incision through the eardrum and vacuumed the fluid out. He placed a ventilation tube in the eardrum itself to drain the remaining fluid. Throughout the anesthesia and surgery itself Dr. Lebovits explained very clearly what he was doing and checked in with me constantly. He has extremely good bedside manner! It was comforting to be in the hands of such an experienced doctor during a scary experience. As for Dr. Lebovits' character, he volunteers in Mexico with Great Smiles Foundation, which performs cleft pallette and other surgeries for children in need. I know this because after my appointment I told my husband what happened to me that day and he personally knows Dr. Lebovits from volunteering with Great Smiles. Dr. Lebovits is highly respected among doctors in the SD community.

I was referred, and went to Dr. Keshav at Ramona Main Street Dental and it was a completely different story. Dr. Keshav did what all my other dentists haven't done and he and his staff (yes, his staff) took the time to talk to me about my fears; and together we realized that it takes longer for me to go numb than it would for a usual patient - which is why I had pain before. I felt like someone was actually listening to what I had to say. Once we figured that out, I no longer had pain during my procedures. I cannot tell you what a huge difference this had made for me and getting dental care. I really do encourage anyone who has any, and I mean any fears or concerns about having dental work done should talk to Dr. Keshav. It never hurts to talk. The front office is great too, very personable. Everything gets spelled out and there are no "surprise" charges. If I ever admitted to liking dentists, Dr. Keshav would be the one I would admit to liking!

Let me start out by saying that Dr. Neglerio has been my dentist since I was a child at 12 years…read moreold. I'm almost 27 now. That's almost 15 years of being her loyal patient, along with all of my family members. I have had very healthy teeth almost my entire life, along with having had top notch braces from one of the most prestigious orthodontists in La Jolla. I loved my teeth and took very good care of them. With turning 26 meant that I was about to come off of my mom's insurance. Dr. Neglerio was incessant about a tiny cavity that seemed to have formed at the same time that my insurance was about to end. I trusted her, and had her fill it. However, a year went by and that filling still felt sensitive. I came back in for some X-rays and a cleaning and mentioned that the tooth did not feel right. She told me that she would adjust the height of the filing - which I was reluctant to do considering that my bite/occlusion felt totally fine, so I didn't want that messed with. She knew I was anxious about that, and I specifically told her that I did not want any enamel touched by her "metal polishing bur." She said, "oh of course not babe! I wouldn't ruin years of braces on your beautiful teeth!" I said, "okay, I trust you." Boy, did I make the biggest mistake of my life that day by letting this woman take a grinding tool to my face. I felt her drag the bur along 4 of my surrounding teeth. She insisted everything was okay. My bite immediately felt strange but she seemed hurried to get me out of the chair. Upon coming home and seeing my teeth in the mirror, I was shocked. That entire side of mouth was shorter than the other side. The tip of my pointy canine tooth was made flat, my two premolars were tiny and reshaped and jagged and knotched. My molar felt rough and flat. Apart from cosmetic issues, only two teeth touch when I close my mouth on that side now, as confirmed by multiple opinions from other dentists. She gave me an open bite, along with uglier teeth, and a slight lisp. I am currently in treatment with a specialist to realign my jaw into a healthy position since Dr. Neglerio's unnecessary and life-altering, irreversible treatment gave me jaw pain and an inability to chew. So much of my enamel has been grinded down that my teeth are sensitive to my every breath, and cold and sugary foods feel like acid. As a woman in my 20's with otherwise healthy and beautiful teeth, she ruined my self-confidence, health, and quality of life. I came in with one sensitive tooth - and now I have 4 painful smaller teeth and a misaligned bite. I normally want to see the best in people and I always trusted her but after this, my entire family will never be customers of hers again. She either has an issue with me and performed unethical work (since she lied to my face and made some joke about me being caucasian), or she has a brain the size of a pea and is half blind. It hurts me to write this about her considering I've trusted her for so many years...but this has caused me more stress than anything else. I am currently seeing a specialist for treatment and having to wear an orthotic splint before getting reconstructive materials built back onto my teeth. All because of one teeny tiny cavity. For the love of god, don't let this woman take anything metal or motorized to your precious face. If you want your teeth destroyed for the rest of your life, tell her that one of your teeth feel sensitive. She'll be sure to grind those babies down for you. All in all, Dr. Neglerio lied to my face about the procedure she was performing on my teeth. Enamel never regrows. I am grieving the loss of half of my healthy smile. I now have 4 teeth that are reminiscent of an elderly-aged bruxer. I attached a photo of my teeth from 5 years ago versus a photo taken a few days after her horribly sloppy work on my healthy natural teeth. This situation my seem small to the naked eye, but when a small piece of a popcorn kernel for example gets stuck in between your teeth - it feels like hell. And I have been in hell since leaving her office a month ago. I know sometimes it's easy to brush over one negative Yelp review, but trust me. My quality of life went from 100 to 0 in a matter of one dental visit from this woman. She even told me over the phone when I complained that "most patients over 50 ask her to get those certain parts of their teeth filed down." This is absurd considering I am in my 20's, don't grind my teeth, and nobody else wants their teeth to look like this. If you're reading this Dr. Neglerio, I want you to know how much I am suffering because of you. This is the worst discomfort, pain, stress, and depression I have ever gone through. Came in with one sensitive tooth. Left with 4 teeth grinded down. Horrible, horrible, horrible...God help me.
