If Ga power had any competition they would go out of business. They have customer no service.

It was easy to report the outage on their web site and they sent a confirmation email to let me know they receive my request.

My fixed-rate plan expired and I admittedly overlooked the renewal emails. However, when my bill suddenly jumped to over $500 in December, I immediately called customer service to understand what happened. The representative explained that my plan had moved to a variable rate and I paid the bill in full during that call. Before ending the call, I specifically asked if my account was now in good standing and was told that it was. Two months later I was shocked to learn that I owed nearly $1,700 more because the variable rate had continued to apply to additional billing cycles. When I called back, another representative told me that customers are supposed to be informed that elevated bills can continue for one or two billing cycles. The problem is: I was never told that. A supervisor later confirmed they listened to the call recording and acknowledged that their representative did not provide that information. Despite acknowledging the mistake, the company still expected me to pay most of the charges. I ultimately paid the balance to avoid further issues, but the resolution offered did not reflect the fact that their own employee failed to properly explain the situation. Mistakes happen, but accountability matters. When a company confirms their representative gave incomplete information and the customer made decisions based on that information, the burden shouldn't fall entirely on the customer. Very disappointing experience.

A start of $60 to turn on plus $60 for the 7days of December due to moving in during the end of the month. Is what I paid today before telling them to disconnect my heat on Monday 2/24/25. The balance is $603 for January? When explained I have $2 per usuals. Then was informed that its not my last bill; oh no please expect 02/03- 02/24 to be sent to you as well your greedy company won't survive, sell it, rename it but your still the highest to pay and most unprofessional to receive service From!

I've been a loyal Scana Energy customer for 15 years -- never missed a payment, never had my service disconnected. But for the first time ever, in the middle of a tough economy, my gas was disconnected without notice. I recently went online to change my billing due date to the end of the month to better manage my finances. I believed this would act as a payment arrangement, but when I called after the disconnection, I was told that changing a due date isn't the same as a payment arrangement -- something I was never made aware of. Even after explaining my long history as a faithful customer, the supervisor showed no compassion. I was told I could only be reconnected if I paid a $75 reconnection fee and a $150 deposit -- a deposit for a company I've trusted for over a decade! I understand the $75 reconnect fee because I do owe that because the services were disconnected. However, I should not have to pay a deposit as if I'm a new customer that is insane. The representative apologized, but leadership didn't care. Their only solution was to push those fees to my December bill, right when gas bills are at their highest during winter. After 15 years of loyalty, I now see that Scana Energy cares more about greed than people. Companies like this have forgotten what customer care truly means. I will be researching other gas providers immediately. Do better, Scana. Longtime customers deserve compassion, not punishment.

From the time I made the first call to Lee, who handles the events at the center, I appreciated how friendly and helpful he was. He explained the rates of each room, how pricing works, what is and is not allowed in the event space, and let me know when I could come in for a tour. We stopped by a little after 7 one night to see the room and the guy working the front desk was more than happy to show us the room we were interested in reserving and answered all our questions. The next day, I spoke with Lee and reserved the space. It was a super easy process and I appreciated that he always responded very quickly if I had any questions. There were plenty of room options to host an event and the cost was very budget friendly. On the day of our event, things were flawless. We had no problem getting access to the room when we arrived on the day of our event and the room was already setup just as I discussed with Lee. The rooms are nice and spacious and the center has recently undergone a renovation so the rooms and bathrooms are updated and look much different than they do on their website. There is plenty of parking nearby and it's pretty easy to find the building. A really good experience and if I ever need a space for an event, I'll be sure to check out the community center first!
