It was the 2nd appt I'd had with Dr. Daniel. Talked with him about 5 minutes after having an ekg that he never committed on to me, I don't think he had looked at it. He ordered test, and then they were canceled and rescheduled for about a mth later. I got so sick, I went to my pcp, and after an ekg, they called the ambulance to me. Admitted with Afib RVR and later found out I had a heart attack at some point. After being hospitalized about 6 times, cardioversion, abrasion surgery and another cardioversion, my new cardiologist and the grace of God I survived. Never went back to Daniel. I was called while in the hospital with a reminder of appt for testing. They were a little late....

We have watched at least ten other people go through the same ordeal. The staff is unapologetic, it is freezing in here, and there are no vending machines for caregivers. My husband is a diabetic and hasn't eaten or drank since 12 midnight. For what medical tests cost, this office should be like visiting a spa. Regular patients tell me that normal office visits can take as long as three hours. Go somewhere else because you will die before you receive treatment here.

After an urgent referral was made when we saw he had a severely reduced EF, we were able to see Dr. Daniel the next day (other cardiologist we wanted was on vacation). We waited probably 2 hours but we expected it as a new patient being worked in with one day notice. The nurse did not listen to anything I was trying to tell her. She kept her back to me. She took his vitals and "filled in the boxes" (as I call it) on his chart. Dr. Daniel was in the office a total of mayne five minutes to tell us treatment options included a life vest and pacemaker/defibrillator, and referral to Emory for a heart transplant. This was our first visit, our first time meeting him, and we had less than 24 hours processing the previous day's news. There was zero sympathy. He did no physical exam. He leaned against the cabinet as though this was daily news for a 30 year old. He saw what the chart and what the ECHO report stated but he did not "see" the patient. My husband has been a firefighter for 12 years and is very active and had been healthy all his life previously. Dr. Daniel offered no medications. He didnt do a heart catheterization to start ruling out why this happened. We felt like we were being pawned off like he didn't want to deal with it when he said go to Emory. We got a second opinion a week later. 7 months later with medications, close monitoring, blood tests, and PCP management, his EF is almost back to normal. No transplant needed. No life vest. No pacemaker. No unnecessary invasive procedures. Dr. Daniel...you should see my husband now.

She did not experience the typical symptoms a person has when having 4 clogged arteries in the heart but his thorough and attentive medical care led to their discovery. In addition, he is attentive when I call concerned about new symptoms that my mother is experiencing. As you can imagine, it is a very scary thing to learn that a loved one has heart disease. It is even scarier when you live 800 miles away from that loved one. Dr. Daniel is always willing to answer my questions and he is always willing to return my long-distance calls. I highly recommend him. A++

The care I received from all employees that I interacted with during my stay was exceptional! A special shout out to my attending nurse (Mr. Alex P.) and the employee that prepped me for the procedure (Ms. Sandra)! Excellent care by these two employees. And I can't say enough good things about my cardiologist (Dr Mueez Ahmed). My cath. was negative and I was discharged that evening. My recovery has been good and I owe this to the care I received at this facility. Middle GA. Is very very fortunate to have such an excellent facility as Navicent Health Luce Hrart Institute!

I was making monthly payments on the account then I get a text message from alliance collection stating that my bill was put into collection when I was making payments. I then call atrium because it would not allow me to make or even get a code to sign into my account and I was told well at the bottom of your bill there is very small fine print, You probably didn't see it that if you don't pay the balance in full then it will get sent to collections well, why would they put it in very small fine print that I probably missed unless they want us patients to fail so they can put us into collections so instead of still taking my payments as I was doing every month, they just threw me into collections and I had to pay the full balance in essence, taking money away from other things that I had as a budget so they could get their full payment when they were accepting payments, their policy is absolutely ridiculous and they need to update that.
