I have to say that Ms June and Ms Phylis are so honest, patient and knowledgeable of the business they are in. Several of my family members have taken driving lessons from either of them. Although Ms June is most direct in her teachings and is very personable, we love her patience and understanding that we are all on different skill levels with age and knowledge. At the same time Ms. Phylis is very calm, patient, encouraging, personable and sweet. But she moves on to the next task quicker than than Ms June. My family all passed road test with each of them with 100% accuracy. Several family members preferred Ms June {older ones} for her do it until you get it teachings while other ones {younger ones} liked Ms Phylis because once you say you understand the task, she will move on to the next task but she never comes back to it. My wife preferred Ms June because she does repeat all task several times during the 10 lessons (20hrs). Now with this said, both ladies are amazingly knowledgeable, and it shows. They both enjoy teaching, and it shows that this is not just a job to them, but it shows they both take pride in the job/teachings they do. We love the Kia Soul teaching cars. Each family member was very happy driving this. It sets up high and easy to maneuver as well as to get yourself out after sitting so long. They both have great sense of humor and it helped during the learning process as to not be stressed out. They are very personable and easily understood in the directions of what to do. My auntie was terrified and at 66, she wasn't sure at all if she would drive. NOW the others in her house says she hides the keys to the car so she can go when she wants to go. Like she says Ms June said I have gained my independence now and I am not waiting on anybody to take me out. We are extremely a happy family now that we are 6 Driving legally with the help and knowledge of these 2 fabulous ladies that should be recognized in Walton, Oconee and Newton Counties as "THE BEST DRIVING INSTRUCTORS EVER" If we could give them 10 Stars we would. I have encouraged my family to write a post as well. Call 770.207.6905 if you are in any of these Counties. You will not be disappointed. I wish everyone would write REFERAL for this business. WE LOVE YOU Ms June and Ms Phylis

6740 Shannon Pkwy, Union City, GA 30291…read more This is the absolute most unprofessional defensive driving school. I am wondering if the Dept of Driver services regulates who can run them. I called and set an appointment over a week and a half in advance. The man tells me that I was ok to attend the 7-10pm 2 day course and provided the location. He explained that it was at 383 Marietta street which was 3-4 min from my home. When I got there, they told me that the class would be in Union City. Almost 35 min from me! I had to take the course at that time as it was already planned out on my schedule. He told me it would take 15 min to get there and to follow him. I followed this man who was speeding down the highway and when I got there, he said we would have made it sooner if I didn't drive so slow... Umm hello??? I drove the speed limit of 65 and was not trying to get a ticket going to defensive driving school!! He was combative and told me that I had a choice to take the class or go home. The actual instructor was nice but it was extremely painful to sit there and listen to him read the whole manual. He literally...Read the pages and it was far from being an interactive course. And his voice was not pleasant to listen too. The video materials used had examples and statistics from 1998 and out of date procedures. On the second day of training, he arrived late while we were all there on time. I was even able to make it on time with the President being in ATL and causing havoc to the traffic. Once again, I had to come down there from the location that I initially signed up for. He arrived, with no apologies, opened up the office and began to start reading the book again after a video. While we were in class, the guy that initially had me drive out there came into the office and started playing music. Regardless of how low it was, it was distracting. After we finished over an hour early, they put on a movie to watch. The put on the un-edited version of "Friday", with all of the curse words and racial terms being used. I found that to be ironic being that the entire office and classroom is covered in religious verses. I felt uncomfortable hearing the "N" word and curses while we waited to be allowed to leave. Don't come here.....

I'll provide a little background on me. I never learned to drive in my teens. Unfortunately,…read moregrowing up, my parents were hypervigilant/overprotective and steered me away from really learning at the "assumed" age. So, I didn't get my permit until I turned 24. However, I lived in Connecticut and then Brooklyn for awhile before moving back to GA almost 10 years later. Living in cities with easily accessible public transportation (Metro North/NYC Subway) pushed learning to the backburner. So, basically, I'm an older student genuinely learning for the first time. I purchased the 10 hour package. And, I admit I'm an overly cautious driver and make rookie mistakes. Even so, I'm determined to learn to become competent and realize that means taking directions and learning from my errors. So, what do I think about Just Drive Right? Scheduling was easy. My instructor was extremely professional and never was late to a scheduled session. My instructor was experienced, knew the rules of the road to a "T" and would demonstrate any errors I made on a tablet so I can better envision how to improve. I'm not hypersensitive to strong direction. Because you WILL be corrected STRONGLY. Understandably, any mistake, even a small one, could potentially cost you your life (and the life of others). There would be days that my instructor would go over time to assist (which definitely wasn't expected). You are in very good hands and can trust that you (or your child) is sitting with an experienced driver. The costs of a package are more than reasonable. ****UPDATED REVIEW****: Just finished my last lesson with Jeanelle and JDR. Turns out it was simply a misunderstanding. If you go to JDR. The teachers speak VERY lowly of the children in the classroom with disabilities. They scream and yell at the children if they cry or show any high emotional behavior. If their RBT does not show up, they will not treat the child well and talk down on them and to them. The teachers do not believe in teaching the children with autism in their classroom as they believe it's the job of the RBT's to teach any child with a disability. It's been numerous of times that my client's diaper was not changed because they believe that it's not their job to change them. This is supposed to be an INCLUSION school but they have a strong dislike for any child with any type of disability. I would NEVER recommend anyone to bring their child to this school if they have a disability or on the spectrum!
