Dr Lipps knew exactly what my fur baby needed when I explained his symptoms & ran some tests to confirm, saving his life, I'm sure!

Since Dr Rene sold the business to Dr Tierra Price, the business has taken a nosedive. I have…read moreseveral pets, and all of them saw Dr Rene and her staff without problems. We spent quite a bit of money there. Dr Price knows her prices are not competitive, and she very respectfully told me to find another vet if I wasn't happy with her refusal to accommodate my requests. She asked me to appreciate that it's a small business and they need their income. I guess I don't need my income. Message received, Dr Price. Watching the number of loyal patients dwindle from a full load to half as many pet names on the white board, I felt sorry for her and continued to give her my business--all five of my pets. Between the way she and her new, incompetent staff have handled my pets (for instance, muzzling a dog that never needed a muzzle with Dr Rene and her staff; taking three people to give a cat a routine vaccination--again, never a problem before), and the disrespect we have been shown on a personal level, it is plain that Dr Price isn't in this business to build relationships and serve this community. Now that she has emailed me to politely remind me that her income is what should be top of mind for me, I will definitely take her advice and find another vet where I am happier. As someone with a habit of adopting rescues, I have used the services of many local vets. For anyone interested, my animals had better care from the Edwardsville vet, the KY Humane Society, the clinics at TSC, Dutch.com, and even an animal hospital on the East End of Louisville. I maintain relationships with doctors who take a real interest in our pets, our family, and our community. When you have a big family (including pets), you have to shop around--something that literally every service provider I have ever encountered can comprehend. I have never asked for a discount that wasn't already offered, and I always pay what I am asked. I don't think it is too much to expect a little consideration when I do business with someone often enough for me to learn their name. Which reminds me--every time I came in, Dr Price introduced herself to me--even when it had just been the day before. Same with her techs. When I could literally count how many appointments they had on a whiteboard, I went from bemused to disappointed that my five pets and I made no positive impression at all. Not enough to remember us the very next day, even. There's just no interest there. I told myself it wasn't a big deal, they were just new and getting settled in...but I can't make that excuse for them anymore. As the mother of four human beings and someone who has had as many as 4 dogs, 5 cats, and a flock of chickens, I have spent a great deal of time in doctors' offices with family wellness appointments and the dreaded sick/injured situation. I have experienced good and bad healthcare across the spectrum. In my 52 years, no situation has ever impressed me as less competent and less invested in the success of their own practice than Unleashed Veterinary Care. Too much "unleashed," not enough "care." Sad.

Wow! You can tell by the business response how they operate, I don't need to ask you what anyone…read moresays about reeding raw because I didn't ask you or your business for an opinion, you asked me what I fed.
