He was a completely capable cat going into this. When getting my cat back from the back room, we pointed out that he could not walk normally how he could before. We pointed this out to the vet and the vet cited arthritis as the cause of him not being able to walk. My wife and I were more concerned because he had never acted like this before. Dr. Brown then hesitantly recommended going to get an x-ray to see what maybe the cause while simultaneously inferring that arthritis could be the cause of his inability to walk. We went down the road to get an x-ray and it turns out that they had snapped his femur from his hip joint while under their care. When we asked about this, they were very hesitant and said they had to contact their insurance agents before answering any further questions. Dr. Brown then later came to us, confirming that his femur had been snapped and ushering us to get him euthanized, even though we had originally came in for simple bloodwork. Now my cat is lying next to me with his femur snapped as we wait to get a second opinion on what we can do while they try to cover their tracks on what they've done wrong. I highly do not recommend this for they have inexperienced that tax who will manhandle your animals behind the scenes without cameras and then become very KG when they are returned with exterior injuries. I say this as a cat dad of many years, who loves and cares for his animals and who would give nothing else for a cowboy, my cat, to be OK just like he was before visiting this vet for simple bloodwork. This vet needs to be investigated for malpractice in the very least.

We had an emergency last week where he was choking on some food, me being a helicopter mom freaked out after a solid ten mins of hacking and choking. We drove down the street quickly to Urban Village, the women was SO SWEET and came running out to check him as soon as pulled up. She acted as if it were her own pup and that's the care I love to see! He ended up being fine and did not have to be seen. We booked his gland express apt for here two weeks later simply because the customer service was great and they seem very attentive to care. Took him today & we were in and out within 15 mins! Rawling wasn't scared and was a happy boy when he came back outside. We will definitely be back!

The space itself and really cute and clean - I've never been to a vet clinic that was so design-y and pretty! When I brought my cat in for an initial visit (to have a bump looked at on her side), I was even offered water or coffee while I waited! I don't know about you, but that's never been the case at other vet clinics I've visited. The vet tech was very helpful and efficient. They used a laptop to get my information in the system, so I didn't have to sit there and fill out a bunch of paperwork, which was nice. Dr. Fruit was kind and attentive to my cat. I've had experiences with vets before where they kind of brush off your concerns, but that was definitely not the case with Dr. Fruit - she was great. We decided to go ahead with surgery to remove the bump, which I was nervous about because I've never had a pet need surgery before. But they answered all my questions and made me feel better about it. Dr. Rudwell actually did the surgery on my cat and she gave me the debrief after the surgery. I know vets always say to call with questions or concerns, but I really do feel comfortable calling them or sending them a picture of the stitches if I need to. Anyway, if you're like me and you're doing research to find the right vet for your pet, definitely add Urban Village to your list!

So far so good. From setting up the appointment to check in, everyone here has been great to deal…read morewith. While waiting for Keeley to be seen, I've listened to the ladies answer the phones with pleasant voices and patience in answering questions. What I find really cool, though, is that they are calling pet parents who have appointments later today to let them know about openings and seeing if they would like an earlier time. I don't recall any other vet office that I've been to doing that. Maybe they did and I was just never lucky enough to get the call...I don't know. I think it's great customer service, and great customer service is what keeps clients happy. We were called back about 15 minutes after the appointment time, which is not too bad. I really liked the vet. She was friendly, informative, and exuded a love for animals. She not only gave me tips on training, she actually started working with Keeley. I'm glad I chose Access.

I've been taking my two dogs to Access for several years, and unfortunately, something happened…read morethat made me so unhappy that I will not give another dime to that place. I had made appointments for their annual vaccines and checkup. Since I made the appointment on the same day, I had to pay a fee to hold that appointment. I was also given sedatives for one of my dogs who has really bad anxiety, and they require that she takes it before being seen. On the day of my appointments, I took my first dog in, paid hundreds of dollars as usual for his shots and his appointment. And then when it came time for the second appointment, I had gotten my times mixed up. I thought it was at 3:30 p.m., when really it was 3 p.m. My phone rang, and the vet was calling me at 3:08 p.m. to ask if I was still coming. I had acknowledged that I made a mistake and told them that I thought it was at 3:30. I asked if I could just come in right away, I would head there right then and there to get my dog seen. I was put on a hold and the receptionist came back and said she spoke with the tech and the answer was no. I explained to her that I was desperate and it created a huge problem for me because as a doodle owner, many people probably can relate to the fact that grooming appointments are a necessity with doodles. It isn't optional. And I had a grooming appointment for my doodle coming up within the next week and a half. And if she does not have her shots, they'll refuse her. And I explained my dilemma to the receptionist and all she did was continually remind me that my appointment was at three o'clock, which I had already acknowledged I made that mistake, but I was pleading with them to help me out. She then told me she would check the calendar at both the Jeff and New Albany locations for anything available before that grooming date. But unfortunately, she told me there was nothing available until weeks later. I asked her if she could please make an accommodation for me, that I'd been going there for quite some time, and that I'd already given my dog sedatives that she was feeling the effects from. And ultimately, all the receptionist did was she continued to remind me that my appointment was at 3, and that she unable to help me out in any way. Also she said I would more than likely lose my fee I paid to hold the appointments. This is upsetting considering you go to a place like Access where you commit to spending hundreds of dollars on a regular basis, and that the fact that she called me to ask me if I was on my way, because I guarantee if I would have said, yes, I'm on my way, she probably would have let me continue to go there and be seen. Otherwise, why else would she have called me to ask? But because I said I would leave my house right then and there, for some reason that changed things, and she said no, and then on top of that, was unwilling to make any kind of compromise for me. I feel like this is poor treatment of customers that spend a lot of money at their office. I was treated in a cold, harsh manner of constantly being reminded that I made a mistake, which I had already admitted to, but she was unwilling to move past that and work with me. I will no longer be returning to this office, and I will definitely not refer this vet office to any of my friends or family.
