I repeatedly said I was in severe pain, but the only response I received was, "It will be over soon." After multiple unsuccessful attempts, the material finally had to be cut out with a dental drill. That night, my tooth began hurting continuously. An X-ray later confirmed inflammation. I was prescribed one week of antibiotics, followed by another week when the pain did not improve. The prolonged antibiotics caused severe stomach pain and digestive problems, yet my tooth continued to hurt. I eventually sought a second opinion and was told there was separation between the tooth and the surrounding gum tissue, persistent inflammation, and that extraction was recommended. When I returned to discuss the situation, I felt that my concerns were dismissed. Rather than acknowledging that something may have gone wrong, the office focused on defending itself. The only solution offered was a refund for the root canal and a discount on future treatment, while I was expected to pay for correcting the damage. The reason I refused any further treatment from this office is because this was not the first time. About two years earlier, I chose to have what I believed was a minor procedure because I wanted to take care of my dental health before it became a bigger problem. Instead, I developed a serious infection afterward, and my face became severely swollen. I returned for additional treatment, but it failed again. I was eventually referred to another specialist, who successfully treated the problem. I was also told that the surgical wound was uneven and had not been completely closed. After experiencing two serious complications at the same office, I no longer had confidence in receiving additional treatment there. I understand that complications can happen in dentistry. What disappointed me most was not only the treatment outcomes, but also the lack of compassion, accountability, and respect when problems occurred. I am sharing only my personal experience in the hope that other patients can make informed decisions.

They kept telling us that our children needed a special toothpaste to remineralize their teeth to avoid cavities, but every 6 months they needed multiple fillings, sometimes multiple sides on a tooth. One child had so many fillings (10-12 teeth) that I finally called to check which teeth had gotten done before. Some teeth had been done more than once, but they told me they were different spots on the same tooth. My youngest was leaving for college last year and yet again they told us he had 3 teeth with cavities, but they could "squeeze" him in right then. That way he could be done before he left for college. We took care of them. Those three teeth were $1042. Fast forward, he returns from college, goes for his cleaning and now he has 3 more teeth with cavities at an estimated cost o $975. He was home for summer, so they scheduled him for a while later. Luckily for us, we moved and found another dentist near our new home. We forwarded his records to the new dentist and scheduled an appointmemt to take care of the 3 teeth that had multiple cavities. My son went to the appointment and came home in less than 30 minutes. The dentist looked at his X-rays, took new ones and said they did not see any cavities! In fact they looked at the cavities that had been filled PREVIOUSLY on the X-rays and said they would not have filled most of them. They showed him and me what to look for on an X-ray, so we could see for ourselves. Going to Restoration Dental cost us thousands of dollars in unnecessary fillings. Nevermind the trauma that my children had to endure with getting shots and further tooth damage for the unnecessary drilling that was done to "clean out" nonexisting cavities. Now my children have the good fortune of looking forwards to possibly having these unnecessary fillings weaken their teeth over time and potentially cause broken teeth, more painful procedures and bigger bills as they get older. I have attached a copy of the last estimate for my son (look how many more teeth they were "watching"). LET ME REPEAT THAT THE NEW DENTIST DID NOT SEE ONE ISSUE THAT WAS ON THE ESTIMATE, AND LOOKED AT HIS PREVIOUSLY FILLED CAVITIES AND SAID THEY WOULD NOT HAVE FILLED MOST OF THEM. If you choose to go to this dentist, don't trust what they say, have them prove it to you. Btw, I noticed there is another review complaining of the same thing.
