UPDATE: Owner claims he posted on the door that they were closed for vacation and that the voicemail states it as well. However, this is absolutely FALSE only changed his voicemail after realizing the bad reviews were piling up. Don't come here, they aren't open. We drove 25 minutes to get there at 9am when they're supposed to be opening. After an hour of knocking and reaching their voicemail, we left to give someone else our business. read more

Brought my buddy 50cc in for a tire change. The guy told me the bike wouldn't start. Charged me $110 for a tire. $50 for a battery $75 to clean a $20 carburetor. When this job was not done correctly. The seals were improperly placed the bike kept shutting off. The transmission cracked from a screw that was missing. The pipe that cools my pistons got cracked the seal in the transmission was cracked. I paid $2000 for a bike that he just caused an immense amount of damage to. He had the nerve to not refund my $75 only for the carburetor that he screwed shut to the point if it over flowed it would have blown my engine. The pin in the carb is loose. I was warned about this store before I brought my bike and now I understand the warning. My seven year old sister could have done a better job. This place is a scam. Don't bring your equipment here. read more

My experience at Georges Scooters was fabulous from start to finish. I had owned a moped before and also done a lot of research before going in. Dylan was a wealth of information about the bikes he had in the shop. He answered all my questions and helped me purchase the right scooter for my needs. The process was painless. In addition, he is just a phone call away if you have any problems. I hadnt ridden my bike for a couple of weeks and had trouble starting it. It was totally my fault because I had run the gas tank dry. He came and got it, fixed it right away and got me going again. I can highly recommend George's Scooters for either renting or buying. read more

Showed up as a group to rent scooters around 10am on a Thursday (which is after they are open) and nobody was there. So unless you want to show up and the doors be locked, I would say probably rent somewhere else. read more

Saw that a very negative review was posted for George's, so I was prompted to relay my experience. I bought two scooters from Dylan a few months ago. To frame the situation, I am a very competent amateur MX motorcycle mechanic. One of the two scooters was delivered with a non-functioning front disk brake. That led to a bit of excitement stopping at a red light on US1. I rode the bike immediately back to the store and Dylan's dad made the repair immediately. He was swamped trying to deliver multiple scooters on a Friday evening. I had to leave NSB for a month the following day so wanted to add Stabil to the fuel. I discovered one of the gas caps had been improperly installed. I did not want to force it, so I called the store. Dylan's dad offered immediate help, but I had to hit the road so agreed to resolve on my return. I received an email from Dylan not long after assuring me he'd make it right. Upon my return, that scooter would not idle due to a gummed up carb. I got it to the store and again his dad assured they'd make it right, but I cured the issue with Seafoam. All along I felt Dylan and his dad were small business owners doing their best to satisfy customers. If they have a shortcoming it is in short mechanic staffing, not in their desire to make customers happy. I am rooting for them to make that aspect of their biz right. And, if the 1 star reviewer is the owner of a yellow MZ Mosquito, the stator it needed is now impossible to find. I know as I think I found the last one 5 years ago when I rebuilt that same model scooter. read more
