A little strange to see that bad review because it doesn't sound like the place I discovered. I recently drove down from Jacksonville and bought a scooter at Red Ember and was amazed with the great customer service, friendliness and overall great attitude. I can't help but think Roberto might be some sort of competitor-creep, trolling the internet and bashing anyone doing better than he is. BG showed us and everyone who came in nothing but respect, honesty and awesome customer service. I'm driving back tomorrow to get some accessories, not because i have to, but because BG is the real deal - a great guy. Even better, BG is a dog lovin' kinda guy - when he learned our dog was waiting in car, he made us bring her into the shop for some love. My kind of person. Thanks! read more

I have purchased two sets of wheels from Justin at Red Ember. First one was the previous location on Beach, most recent this new locale. I had some issues with the first bike that was managed and maintained without a hitch, Whatever I needed....there it was. This most recent purchase was a new 150cc Scooter and needed a goofy replacement. I do not blame him for the slow speed of the company getting parts to their dealers, I appreciate his attention, communication, remembering my name every time I came in, and just being a really stand up guy. I have been with Red Ember for over 10 years; first, for them to service my Scoot Coupe/3-wheeled motorcycle that looks like a little car. In 2015 I bought a Vespa from Red Ember and loved it. Traded it in on a new Vespa in 2018. Love the Vespa and the service Red Ember provides. Justin, the owner, is terrific, so is Kevin, the mechanic. Very RACIST and DISCRIMINATING company!!! STAY AWAY!!! Not the person to leave complaints on a company but with my experience I just had to make everyone aware. I called in to receive a quote on a vespa part, to be exact it was for the immobilizer module for a 2005 GT 200L. The person I spoke to asked me for what part I needed and I explained in detail along with the part number. Things got strange when I told him my name is "Roberto" and he immediately told me that he was putting me on hold and "it would take a while". Basically cutting me off in the middle of the conversation and randomly/rudely throwing me on hold. I then told him that the part was not for me but I was buying it for a friend in South America so my information on the bike was limited but I did have the VIN number. His attitude all of a sudden got even worse. He told me that they have been burned and any out of state or non in store transactions need to be done via wire. I said, no problem and that I am in the state not far from his location. It seemed as if he wanted to keep finding excuses to get rid of me. He then told me "That is not a VESPA part number". That was strange because I have the photo right in front of me along with a photo of the VIN and I am sure that the part is of a VESPA. He then got upset and basically told me "we are not interested in dealing with you". Wait a minute "WHAT"??? You can not say that to a customer just because you are frustrated that you can't find the part in your system. I offered to give him the VIN and he still refused saying "We are not going to deal with you". After all, the parts specialist is very unknowledgeable about VESPA parts. He then hung up the phone. I called back and I told him that he has no right to discriminate, and he said "That's Cute". People as ignorant as this should not be in business to the public. And how they have the audacity to talk like this to customers is beyond me. So much in this country unfortunately has been headed in the wrong direction. However I will not stop here and this is not the last they will here of me. I will be stepping up my complaints about this company and make aware of all future clients what kind of people these guys are. By the way, called another dealer and spoke to George at (Vespa St Augustine) and they found the part no problem and gave a fair price. My opinion, there are much better places out there that treat people with respect, and that you should take your hard earned money elsewhere. read more

Red Ember Cycles / Vespa Of Daytona was referred to me by a local business owner/biker. I would highly recommend Red Ember Cycles to anyone needing an honest & reputable motorcycle repair shop. I had BG (The bald guy) at Red Ember pick up my Honda Shadow 1100 Ace Tourer from another local motorcycle dealer who gave me an estimate of over $600.00 for carburetor repairs. BG threw in a couple of gallons of high test,cleaned the spark plugs & took it for a ride. No repairs needed & I was only charged about $15.00 for the time & gas. No repairs needed! I will definitely trust Red Embers Cycles service department for future repairs. read more
