They have any veggie options so vegetarian people can enjoy too! The fish itself was very fresh, and it was quite delicious! Despite the portion size I was able to finish everything! We the approached the staff Inside (as nobody was coming out serve us) to ask for it to be taken away instead as it was starting to be cold outside. Once we had asked for the food to be prepared in take away boxes, the owner/chef got irate and started to swear in our direction saying that it would take another 30 minutes to put the food in boxes. After waiting for the food for another 10 minutes, the food arrived, we paid and then left. No apology was made from the staff which was incredible considering the time we had waited. On getting home and opening the takeaway boxes, the tacos did not contain any avocado which was advertised on the menu. The flour tortillas were stone cold and doughy, and it contained uncooked largely chopped bell peppers. Overall it tasted like a side salad dumped in to an uncooked tortilla. I would heavily recommend against the beach hut if you're after fish and chips In the Islington area. You would be much better off heading along Upper Street and going to Kennedy's.

It is served with a lemon wedge and a very small pack of Tartare Sauce. On the table is a vinegar container as well. Although that vinegar tasted weak or maybe it was just plain white vinegar. I do prefer the dark malt vinegar. Crown Fish & Chip Bar also serve up Gyros (Doner) and other fried foods. They have plenty of sides such as salad, mushy peas, etc. to add on to your meal. The staff are rude, the décor is fake and plasticky, and it seems that they've spent all of their expensive on that garish sign rather than learning how to cook. The food is overpriced; the chips where cold and powdery (much like a huge soggy French-fry rather than a chip); and the fish was pretty much impotent. The fish bar has very unsuccessfully managed to something traditional and wholesome (although not in the health sense) into some pretentious and lame.

Fish selection is really awesome, but I prefer standard cod plus chips set, maybe with some mushy peas to accompany this greasy affair.
