Great hair cuts for kids and men Custom cut too with your Boston favorite team The wait is a little long for custom cut but for regular cut no read more

Ive been going to this barbershop for almost 25 years ever since I was a little kid. Nothing was better than getting your sports # or favorite team designed into the back of your freshly cut hair by Mike. I remember waiting hours somedays. Then fast forward, and Bubba one of my close friends starts working there and building a huge clientel. I see Bubba every other week, and leave happy every single time. All the other workers such as Tim, Dick, etc. are always in a good mood and I would 1000% recommend this shop to someone looking for a new place to go! read more

I wanted my head shaved with a straight razor. What I got was a man spending 10 minutes with me using an electric razor. My ears are tricky and when I got home I had big clumps of hair where my ears meet my head. My old barber used a straight razor to clean up this mess. Nothing was done to touch up what was missed. I expected hot towels and got none. For 30 dollars plus a ten dollar tip I expected more than I received. Unless this was a fluke I will not come here again. I did not feel listened to. My previous barber shop Mr Barber did not survive the pandemic and im looking for a replacement. read more

Took the boyfriend here for a haircut and beard trim. He has gone to get his haircut for years elsewhere and gone home to cut it a little himself- so crazy to me! Not at George's though!!! Tim did an incredible job. This is a REAL old school family owned barbershop and it is perfect. Place was immaculate and had constant foot traffic. You can tell why!! The guys did a great job and my boyfriend finally found a place he trusts to do a great job! Thanks again Tim! read more

Old school multi generational barbershop with 6 Master Barbers. Offering everything from a traditional crew cut to artwork for the kiddos. Ask anyone in the area where they go, it will most likely be Georges. read more

George's is the best Barbershop on the North Shore. Honestly. It may be the best barbershop in all of the US. We moved to Georgetown, from Saugus/Wakefield but we still come back to Saugus to go to Mike and the crew at George's! Friendly, fun, great haircuts, you walk out of that shop feeling like a million bucks and usually laughing from the barbershop banter and Dickie's jokes. It's a positive experience every time, the professional barbers are always open to you telling them exactly how you want your hair, and they always go the extra mile to get it right! When my son had cancer, George's supported us. I got my first haircut here from George, and I will get my last haircut from here as well. There is no other barbershop that comes close to the old school, all inclusive, welcoming atmosphere as well as the professional, personalized, quality cuts that George's provides! read more

George's Barber Shop - 4 classic barbers! - Barbers Near Me - Saugus, Massachusetts

I got my first haircut here over 20 years ago, & still get my haircut here to this day. George's barbershop has been owned and operated by the same family for 115 years as of 2017. (What more do you need to know?) - I would recommend this barbershop to anyone of any age. The variety of barbers will keep you comfortable no matter who you are. Mike goes out of his way to go above & beyond for the community & his business shows it. He is the best barber & one of the greatest people I know hands down. Great people, great service, great rates, and tons of experience. If you're looking for a talented barber & beautiful shop, look no further. You've found the one. read more

George's Barber Shop - Christmas season 2016. - Barbers Near Me - Saugus, Massachusetts

Asked for a fade starting at 1.5, longer on top, typical guy haircut with 1-2inches on top, said I don't wear product, showed a picture. He went 1.5 all the way up into some weird undercut that is a comb over style that I will need to put product in, buzz off completely or wear a hat till someone can fix this. The guy just did what he wanted and not what I asked. This is the worst haircut I've ever received in my adult life. read more

Best barbershop! My son hates getting his haircut but he feels very comfortable Mike! And he does a great job! You won't be disappointed!

My son and husband love this place. They both had Bubba and really love the haircuts he gave them. The price is amazing! Thanks Bubba!

This barbershop is the place to go! Everyone I know goes there, and more often than not if you ask one of the customers how long they have been coming it will be followed with a story of how it was where they got their first haircut, or their grandfather used to come here too! It's a place where you go because they make you look and feel good! Mike and the other 3 full time barbers are like old friends! We always feel like a new person leaving there! It's also super clean, they have tvs at every station, and the big and little kids go home with a fresh cut, a smile and a lollipop! Nothing better! (Ask for a custom logo design - Bruins, Pats, Celtics etc...the kids love the town sports logos too!) read more

Worth the trip from NH! I've been going to George's for almost fifteen years, starting when I worked nearby. Now I drive to Saugus from southern New Hampshire just to get a buzz clip from these guys! read more

While I was in town on family business I thought I'd actually visit a real barbershop instead of one of these volume cut businesses. I wonderful home town barber, professional employees a nice atmosphere. Thanks Mike. read more

Clean place. Very good barbers treat you the right way. Respectful and good for a laugh. Mike took over for his father and I'm sure he's as proud as can be. Always satisfied on all accounts. Service is just right. read more

I hate being the only one with a bad review - but this was a hit or miss for me. My first two cuts were great. The last cut I got was from a different barber and when I got home to really look at it, it was really uneven. My girlfriend pointed out there were missed spots and shorter spots all over. Credit, the fade was nice, but the top was just so uneven. I ended up having to buzz the top because of it. Unless I can be sure to get a certain person again, I probably won't return. read more

My boys and I have all been going to George's for years and always get the perfect haircut. Great atmosphere, prices, & cuts what more can you ask for!!! read more

Great environment, every barber is very professional and knows how to do any type of cut. I recommend this barbershop to anyone of any age

After a few iffy haircuts here I have it another try. I went to the guy in the first room chair closest on the bathroom. He was pretty good flawless cut on the sides and not bad on the top. The only reason he's not getting five stars( might be my fault) is that he didn't even ask if I wanted it styled. Other than that he was perfect but I was a little odd he asked about my eyebrows but not styling my hair. read more

Horrible haircut. I asked for a fade but I got a combover. The cut was way too short and way too high up, which wasn't what I asked for. I've been here once before and I decided to give them another chance but both of these visits left me unhappy. Avoid getting a cut from the new guy. read more

They are amazing. I will be a customer for life now. Mike does the sports symbols and does an amazing job.

Drop in for a $12 men's cut and friendly conversation. A few dollars more for a shave or a fancy style. Most all, if not all of the guys are veterans. I'll give these guys my business any day over a chain salon. The only downside is parking can be hard to find. read more

Mike Morello is a master barber he has a great staff, great location, reasonable prices and bring the kids, they will luv the sports cuts and colored team symbols that Mike does, check it out you won't be disappointed read more

This place is like Cheers - everyone knows your name. I've been seeing one barber, Dicky, for several years, but the other barbers also greet me when I come in. I had moved to Saugus 10 years ago and began searching for a new barber. After trying several others, I accidentally stopped into George's. It's not as visible as some of the other shops, hidden away on Jackson Street. What a find it has been. This is an old school shop. You get a haircut, shave, talk sports, hear the local gossip and watch little kids get sports logos designed on their heads. You're treated like royalty. Each barber is very deliberate in making your experience a pleasant one. Your whole mood livens up while there. You don't go there just for a haircut - it's an experience. If you're looking for glitz, highlights, rock music, and arrogant stylists, don't come here. If, however, you want a good haircut, good talk, and a lollipop, come here! read more
