On top of that, I spent an additional entire weekend preparing everything for their arrival so the work could be completed as scheduled. Day of work was confirmed. At 8:00 a.m. on the morning they were supposed to arrive, they canceled the appointment. Not days in advance. Not even the night before. They waited until the morning of the scheduled appointment to inform me they wouldn't be coming. They followed up with 3 variable stories from being overbooked to an ER visit for reasons why they cancelled. I lost day of work, an entire weekend of preparation wasted, and absolutely nothing accomplished. Canceling an appointment at 8:00 a.m. might be convenient for them, but it's incredibly disrespectful to customers who have rearranged their lives and invested considerable time preparing. It's a complete lack of professionalism and total waste of my time. Take your business elsewhere. We immediately sought advice and names of companies that could help us. A common name that kept popping up was Robert with All County Waterproofing. Robert came to our home the following day. He inspected the basement, explained what was going on, what could be done to fix the issue, and put us at ease. Robert is not a salesman and is not about ripping off families who are in unfamiliar territory. Instead, Robert is the owner of a relatively small company that takes pride in its work, and makes sure that the root of your water issues are addressed in a timely manner at a very reasonable price. I similarly cannot say enough nice things about Robert's team, including Wilson who was the project manager on the job at our home. All County removed the prior French drain system, fixed a serious problem caused by the company that did the prior French drain install, and installed All County's waterproofing system, which is working incredibly well so far. Robert and his team kept me informed thought the entire process, took videos and pictures of the water escaping from the cement blocks, and left the basement in a much cleaner state than it was when they got there. I asked a local concrete repairman to assess it, and he told me it would require permits, a few days of digging and ultimately lifting the apron. It was not a cheap job. After looking online, I decided to give Concrete Chiropractor a call, expecting an expensive quote, given their well-known name. Kris got back to me promptly, asked me to send him some photos, and he quoted me online. The quote was less than half of the other guys. They came, and a few hours later were gone. The two inch sagging was gone, and the apron was flush with the curb. My car no longer scrapes against the concrete, and if you didn't know, you wouldn't be able to tell anything was repaired. If you have sagging concrete issues, don't waste your time...call them! I wish I could find professionals like them for other things around the house!
