Found Half Price Mattress! Short hours on Sunday but got there just after a 1:00 opening. Christina was the sole person in the store. I explained what I was looking for and she directed me to a mattress she felt fit the bill. We ( my wife ) tried it and found it to be what we were looking for. The posted price was $1100 but she immediately let us know that it was on sale for $799. I inquired about delivery and got impressed at NO CHARGE and could be delivered now even on Sunday . Delivery is a 3rd party and would be a set up charge if needed. Just pay cash to the delivery person. It's only been 3 days but we are very pleased with our purchase and keeping $$$ in our pockets. She mentioned they had just recently opened this new location at the Galleria mall, so it was perfect timing for us to stop into the mall otherwise we would have missed this gem entirely. We had originally planned on just browsing the store and Lyna was so kind to show us their full offering of sheets, pillows, art, and other offerings, but we were drawn to their selection of premium massage chairs since my mom had been considering purchasing one for awhile. Lyna gave us the full breakdown on the chairs and allowed us to test them at our own leisure with no pressure to purchase. After much testing, we ultimately decided on one of their top of the line models since Lyna was able to put together a package we couldn't refuse. If you do not read this whole review, here is two key things to know about this place:…read more 1. KEEP YOUR PERSONAL AND BANKING INFORMATION SAFE. 2. MAKE SURE YOU STAND UP FOR YOURSELF. The affordability of these mattresses are great with the 50% discount added to them (this is based off of the 3 mattresses we were shown). We went in and were basically rushed and forced through the whole process. We couldn't even properly discuss how the two of us felt about a mattress without the salesman needing to put his every opinion in and have no value to what we were saying. It was hard to even look at different mattresses due to how aggressive he was being and we felt like it wasn't even an option to look around the store. As soon as we said we liked the 3rd mattress he showed us, he brought us over to their desk in the middle of the store. We made it apparent that we wanted to run our credit, see where we stood with financing before we made the final decision that it would work for us (like at a car dealership). We explained to him from the start that we have a lot to consider since we are moving, expecting to have a baby soon and other expenses to consider before jumping so quickly into another loan. He started taking our basic information down on the computer. Then when it came time to give Phil our SS number and banking number, he pulled his mask down to practically announce it for everyone to hear in the store and back room. I'm pretty sure with sensitive information such as YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER AND BANKING INFO that you would lower your voice while repeating it. Since he had to verify it, he read them aloud TWICE. Now we are at the point where we could see how much we were approved for, and how many months we could finance it. BUT HE COULD NOT TELL US THE INTEREST RATE BEFORE CLOSING THE DEAL. You have to pay the $40 for processing, sign the papers and then you'll get an email from the 3rd party company stating the rest of the info (which apparently includes the interest rate). We weren't going to sign or go through with anything if we didn't know what the interest rate would be beforehand. That's perfectly normal, right??? Well Phil wasn't having it. He immediately threw his hands up, scoffed at us and said, "Why did we even start this process in the first place then??". Well maybe because he didn't take into consideration what we were saying and just wanted to make an easy sale with minimum effort (close to no effort at all). He did nothing to give us any further or relative information about our ONLY concern. The price aspect wasn't even an issue at all, but he then continued with, "Is this not good enough for you?". At this point we just wanted to get out. How simple would it have been to let us walk around for 5 more minutes and talk about certain aspects before anything more? From walking into the store to being brought over to the desk, it was all insanely rushed, he basically guilt tripped us, and took advantage of us all in less than 10 minutes. We had to bite our tongues when he made a sad last attempt to (and I quote) "make customers out of us" by offering the cheapest mattress they had. If that was his way of saying we were poor, he obviously has a major problem with reading his customers and giving somewhat decent service. He just laughed and mocked us for being responsible and covering our grounds. He then looked at the computer and said, "Well it now looks like you're probably not going to get approved for anything in the next year anyways". EXCUSE ME? So what he was trying to tell us was that by taking down our personal info and bank info it affects our credit... HOW?? It's sad that he even went as far as to threaten us into trying to leave with a mattress. Sorry we weren't going to sign anything without knowing what the interest rate would be. It could be all well and great then you get screwed by that. We just couldn't take the risk without receiving the proper information. We finally said no to his last offer and he acted like he didn't know how to cancel all the information he put into the computer. We sat there in silence because we didn't even know what to say at this point. He took both of our cards he had and slammed each of them, one after the other on the desk in front of us. Then said a sarcastic goodbye and we bolted out as fast as we could. We got to the car and called our bank ASAP. To let them know everything that had just happened. PLEASE ASK FOR ANYBODY BUT PHIL. YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO SAY "NO" AND TO TAKE YOUR TIME. DON'T BE AFRAID TO WALK AWAY OR SPEAK UP. DO NOT LET THIS MAN PRESSURE OR BELITTLE YOU INTO A SALE. If you like browsing stuff you'll never be able to afford - this is like a fun antique museum. Those who can afford it - that's great, but they'll be surprised at the location, because the outside is very different from the inside. The staff was there and they said have a nice day when I left. I told them I paid for a new table, & that's what I wanted, again they were put out. Barstools had faulty cushions, instead of replacing for new they wanted to send them for repair DURING THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS... I had only had them 2 weeks. Only wanted to replace table top instead of whole table . Legs didn't match. Once again, delivery guy put out. Finally I got it resolved 6 weeks later .. grrr WALK AWAY PEOPLE....
