I would have preferred they said it was something they couldn't help with if so. After the appointment, the medication that was prescribed was denied and needed to be sent to a specialty pharmacy. It was initially sent to the wrong specialty, and after finally getting the correct specialty information, I was told a referral form needed to be completed and faxed by the doctor. Since then, both the pharmacy and I have repeatedly tried to reach the office. Calls are transferred, but no one answers or returns messages. At this point, I have actually spoken with the pharmacy more than I have been able to speak with the doctor's office. The lack of communication and follow-through has been extremely frustrating, especially considering I paid a copay to be seen and have received essentially no help afterward. Overall, this has been a horrible and by far the worst experience from the long wait to the lack of communication and follow-through. I would not recommend this office based on my experience. Dr. Yu kept changing my prescriptions for items not in his lane. My health insurance and the…read morepharmacy contacted me several times each prescription he would write me due to the contraindications in medications. This happened with no less than four medications. I do not feel like Dr. Yu listened or looked at my meds or chart. Dr. Yu sent my medications to a different pharmacy than my requested pharmacy. I believe he is part owner of this pharmacy? When my medications came to my home they were so hot and when medications are in the heat for long they are ruined. I finally had my pharmacy change them back so they would not all expire in the heat. It was a process. I do not feel like Dr. Yu took me and my healthcare seriously. I feel he was more interested in money. I asked about several issues and he said they do not do them in his office due to insurance issues. That insurance only pays .25$ cents for trigger shots. He charged me $165 for trigger shots where he left bruises all over my shoulders. Plus, part of the one muscle on my shoulder was left in a bulging state and was hyper sensitive. When anything touched my shoulder at night or sitting down it would send me flying up. Dr. Yu and his office were supposed to fax paperwork to get medication approved for me. My insurance program manager called them no less than four times and worked with the pharmacy company to try and get the medication approved. However, all they needed was a simple note from the doctor saying he had prescribed x, y, and z for me before. His office did not follow through. The worst issue was having to listen to Dr. Yu tell me how pretty he thought I was every visit. This is completely unprofessional. I do not care if you think your patient needs self confidence. There are boundaries and this crosses several of them. Someone from the ethics board needs to look into Dr. Yu. Please!

I sought medical help for my headaches for years without any results. Then I was referred to Jason Kaufman. Jason Kaufman is a chiropractor that developed his own method of treatment. He does NOT do the typical alignments we all associate with chiropractors. So, do not let his certification prevent you from experiencing what the Kaufman pain release Method can do for you. It turns out the connected muscles in my shoulders and neck were causing all of the referred pain in my jaw and head. Jason was able to release the muscles and the pain is now gone. It was a process and I am still on the journey. I saw Jason once a week for the first 2 months. Then we moved to once every two weeks, and then to monthly. I am now on an every 5 to 6 week cycle. The results are sustainable. I always knew that I had a stressful Corporate job. I took fairly good care of myself with a moderately active lifestyle and fairly decent eating habits. Who knew that all of the stress accumulating in my shoulders would manifest above my neck? Not only is Jason Kaufman resolving my pain, he is the most caring provider I have ever met in my lifetime. His follow-up is world-class. His empathy for me as a patient still surprises me. For example, he reached out to fellow colleagues to review my medical history and create future treatment plans. Instead of doing the right thing, and trying to fit you in as soon as possible, you just go to the back of the line in priority and have to wait another 5-6 weeks for an appointment. Here's the kicker, during this entire process, prepare to be shown absolutely ZERO empathy from the person on the other end of the line. Take it one further, not only no empathy but they are blatantly rude to you. It's a shame that these people have either never been in a situation where their health depends on receiving proper care, or they have already forgotten what it feels like to receive care urgently and be respected in the process.
