I used TMJ mouth guards, underwent surgery for discs in my jaw and used botox on the muscles in my head, but these treatments did not relieve my pain or allow me to open my mouth beyond 1/3 of the normal range. It turns out the connected muscles in my shoulders and neck were causing all of the referred pain in my jaw and head. Jason was able to release the muscles and the pain is now gone. Instead of doing the right thing, and trying to fit you in as soon as possible, you just go to the back of the line in priority and have to wait another 5-6 weeks for an appointment.
