We ordered enough for a dinner for two but it fed us and our son who was visiting. My only recommendation is to offer by the person. They only offer for two, four, six. So I couldn't order for three. I decided it would be a good treat for Valentines day so I researched and found George Stone Crab which had good reviews. The cost for the claws was lower or competitive with the other sellers. I ordered medium for two. I asked for delivery on February 13th. The ordering was easy. I was kept informed of the delivery status and tracking. The claws arrived and were as promised. We heated them up in steam for five minutes as recommended and had ourselves a very nice meal. The claws were full of meat and flavorful. Not a cheap meal but even in Florida they are expensive. These guys wrecked my Thanksgiving. Claws did not arrive - whole family is disappointed and I'm scrambling to find a suitable replacement. They made excuses and then disappeared leaving me with only hope that they would arrive as promised. They didn't. They'll even try to talk you into three day old, travel delayed claws if / when they arrive late. Just so they can keep the sale. Pay for fresh holiday claws, get sick eating spoiled late claws after your holiday event. No thanks. They don't seem to care about the client, just protecting themselves. They seem amateurish and shouldn't be trusted with delivery of perishables. I've been a loyal customer for events and holidays, but no more. Not there when you need them. Can't influence any positive outcome or help. They tell you how they can't do anything to help and push you toward their shady processes, designed delay you and to best serve their interests. Then they absolutely disappear. You know that nervous feeling you get when you spend a lot of money online for a product that's requires time, attention, precision professionalism, and care? George's provides a great service and their staff is great! We have bought from them about 6 times and have received their yummy crab about 8 times with very feee issues. I will say that the delivery cost is quite high, but that is the shipping co, not George's. Our last order was unfortunately, completely satisfactory, with many of the claws being inedible. With any perishable food product, this can happen, and I am sure that George's will send me a replacement order. Like I said George's is great, but we got a bad shipment. read more

I had a terrible experience after several years of wonderful orders. Crabs were rancid, shriveled, and reeked of ammonia and the key lime pie showed up destroyed and likely melted on a dock before being shipped out on ice. They refunded me but I was out the $10 shipping protection and I'm honestly hesitant to order from here again because they had to know that the package they were sending out was rancid but still sent it. read more

We ordered the large stone crab claws for our Thanksgiving meal. They were delicious.,13 came in the order for two so we have enough for another meal tonight! That's always a huge win. We had the large stone crab claws several weeks ago for another special occasion. We thought our T-giving claws were slightly less sweet. Hence, the 4, not 5 rating. A big mystery is that they are shipped overnight from Miami to us by Fedex Priority. They didn't arrive until 2 pm on Wednesday. I would prefer they arrived earlier, by noon at least, to give me more time to unbox, rinse, and place on ice for the following day. I do find their customer service representatives very helpful and friendly. Another pet peeve... the day after I ordered, feee shipping became a promotion. Since I used some loyalty points when I purchased these, I couldn't change it to get the free shipping u less I wanted to lose my loyalty points.
