I made an appointment with dr Healy because I was in SO much pain it was unbearable. Despite being terrified of the procedure and dentists in general I slowly made my way into the office. Dr Healy was amazing. He was very confident that he would not only take away my pain but make sure the procedure was painless as well. There were some rough spots but it was to be expected. I was in bad shape to begin with. I'm glad I made the decision to see him and he even called me the next day to see how I was doing and to remind me to make sure I take ibuprofen and my penicillin around the clock. Hopefully I'll never need another root canal again but if I do I know who I'm coming to see!!

Rarely do I wait longer then 15mins. Before doing any work, they explain what your insurance will pay and what's expected out of pocket. Unlike some, they allow payments (as long as you show good faith on your part). I like some hygienists more than others, but it's more to do with personality than care quality. Dr, Freeman is the best. He is very personable and makes going to the dentist bearable. I have terrible teeth thanks to genetics, and have had several root canals, fillings etc. Doc always makes sure to explain what he is doing, then once he starts, every few minutes he'll stop and make sure I'm not having any discomfort.

He performed the procedures without a total anesthetic, a terrible experience on the chair, extremely traumatic. His assessment of the X-ray was totally wrong. As soon as the antibiotic pills were finished the infection showed up, an immediate pain. The fact that his diagnostic of two expensive x-rays he took was a guess, not an educated guess. Feeling his hands and other nurses in the room, over my mouth, during the surgery, was torture, even though there was very little pain; he kept adding local anesthetic shots, but it was just a very traumatized procedure from where I was sitting. The entire episode cost was too high for what he did, and the failed result ended up a disaster for me who had to go to another endodontist to remove the entire tooth. my advice: examine every sentence in the initial assessment and procedure before you sign in. Look for a second opinion. do not go through this procedure with a local anesthetic, no matter how much this doctor convinces you about an easy procedure that would be. He is far too expensive for what he does. I got a far cheaper cost for redoing what Dr Shallal could not take care of, the infection, and ended up removing the entire tooth. finally, find someone else, and get a total anesthetic. Listen to your guts and feelings, when you meet DR. Shallal. He is unsure of himself, lacks confidence in his own words, and is uncertain of his own decision as to how to proceed. if you have prior torture experiences, have money, and don't care about your tooth, then this is your guy, take a seat and good luck.

The Dr did a great job explaining to me what was happening while it was happening. Had a wonderful experience with Dr. Dietz today…read more The first impression of his office is a great one. His staff are extremely friendly, and available to you are Coffee, Tea, and Water. The office itself is extremely sharp, modern, and clean. Each room has it's own flat screen which doubles as a computer monitor. The chairs are some of the most comfortable I have ever experienced in a Dentist's office, and also have a massage function. Dr. Dietz himself was highly professional, friendly, kind, and compassionate. His bedside manner was phenomenal, and he was very patient. Dr. Dietz uses a microscope that I have never seen used before during the surgery, that allows him to zoom in much further. The procedure itself was uncomfortable at times(as Root Canals are), but all in all I feel he did a very good job, certainly better than my previous Root Canal(done by a different Dentist). He was kind enough to call and check on me after hours, which I really appreciated. He squeezed me in as well, on a day he was booked. He obviously cares very highly about his patients. All in all a wonderful experience. I recommend him highly, if you are ever in need of the much dreaded Root Canal!
