I recently had a filling replaced, and it was totally pain free and took 10 minutes! I also had all 4 quadrants deep scaled cleaning (below the gum line). The procedure with my previous dentist always required painful numbing injections, that I dreaded. Raintree did it using nothing but topical numbing cream! I had zero pain from start to finish!! If you dread going to the dentist, for any reason, once you try Raintree, you will never dread it again

3/22 re: Treatment moving forward (as referred by Dr. Bayer, HER plan per handwritten note)…read moreI wanted to touch base with you now that I have had a chance to converse with Dr. Duval regarding treatment of your lower left, specifically tooth #19.  He is recommending you treat this tooth with endodontic therapy to clear up the infection.  I agree with his diagnosis and feel that at your scheduled appointment on the 29th, I am comfortable moving forward with a crown on #18, with nothing further on #19 until that treatment with Dr. Duval is completed. Dr. Bayer lied to me about McClammy being retired (originally referred BY Raintree Dental), in order to get me in front of a man "she had worked with for some time". A man who would lie to your face to take your teeth, Dr. Ryan Duval. (a 'consult' walked-out on) THE TOOTH WAS NEVER INFECTED; IT ONLY REQUIRED A FILLING. (Nor did #18 need a crown.) Dr. Bayer refused to treat the tooth ("nothing further", until KILLED), putting the tooth at risk. "She will smile in your face as she tells you to kill perfectly good teeth."

His office is state of the art with more dental technology than I ever knew existed. His staff was extremely clean and friendly and they were able to talk me through the whole process so I felt extremely comfortable. My teeth came out whiter than ever and I never once experienced any sensitivity. He has sense taken over all my dental cleanings and work. I was even able to maintain my regularly scheduled visit during the COVID 19 outbreak. He had dedicated staff members sanitizing his office and he welcomed me at the door. Update: I've recently learned that he offers his own membership plan that helps save money and offers exclusive discounts. Considering switching over to it from my dental insurance. I want to start this by saying I have been going here for nearly 20 years. I'm not sure what has…read morehappened with the office over the past 1-2 years but the front office organization is frankly unprofessional and this will be my last visit here. Since 2025 I have set four appointments for a cleaning with these guys, three of the four times I arrived for my appointment I was told that they "overbooked" and did not have a hygienist available. The first time it happened I thought no big deal I'll come back, mistakes happen, even though it's a 30 minute drive for me to the office. The receptionist reset my appointment and I came back a few weeks later. When I returned for my reset appointment I was again told they "overbooked" due to an error in the booking system made by their staff member who had reset my appointment when I was last in office. I was upset but agreed to come back one final time after I was assured by staff that the appointment was properly in the system and was given a written copy of the appointment confirmation. I eventually returned a few weeks later and was finally seen correctly for my cleaning, which should have happened over a month ago at that point. Again, this took three trips to the office just to get a cleaning that I had scheduled months in advance. While I was there for this cleaning, I was offered the option to book my next appointment for my next cleaning. I set my appointment 4 months out at their recommendation and I watched as the hygienist input it into their system with no other patients at that time-slot, again this was 4 months prior to today. Today I arrived for my appointment early at their request. I checked in and waited for approximately 15 minutes only to be told that again they had "overbooked" and there was not a hygenist available today and they would need to reset my appointment. This is an appointment that was set four months ago with no other pre-existing appointments at the time it was set, which means the office consciously chose to overbook and give priority to other appointments that were set after without ever even notifying me. The receptionist could provide no explanation for how a four month pre-existing appointment was overbooked and was quite rude as if the issue were somehow my fault. These are the same people with a giant sign now in the lobby stating if you don't cancel your appointment within 48 hours of the scheduled time they will bill you for it. I guess it's ok if they do it but not their patients? Needless to say I won't be back. These are not professional people who value your time. There is no excuse for the disorganization and lack of care for a client of 20+ years, what a shame.

I went in at Harris Dental for emergency and not knowing really what to expect or how busy they are. My Dr. Cowlin isn't in but the team of Dr. Scott, Felicity and Martha too care of me. Martha already knew my situation as I left her a VM over the weekend. Going in the clinic with a lot of uncertainty, worries, anxiety and panic was all over me since an overseas travel is also on schedule for me. After going through all the intake paperwork and providing my insurance information, the dentist then told me he was only a general dentist and could not help with the treatment I needed. That would have been frustrating enough, but they still charged both me and my insurance a total of $250 ($50 copay and $200 insurance payment) for a visit that provided no actual care or solution. When I raised the issue, their response was that they "used to have a periodontist, but he left years ago," and that they cannot control what appears on healthcare websites. While that may be true, they can absolutely control being honest when a patient clearly states the type of specialist they need. Instead, they allowed the appointment to proceed, then charged for a service they knew they could not provide. Very disappointing experience.

I came in for a routine cleaning and wanted to discuss options for getting my crowns replaced. Dr. Kovacik was helpful and thorough. He referred me to a great endodontist to confirm my old root canals were still holding up before we proceeded with crowns. Good thing we did because we did need to redo one. I came back a week later for temporary crowns (which looked amazing), then two weeks after that we put my permanent crowns on. I have my wedding coming up this weekend and I'm elated that we were able to get all this work done beforehand. I have the most beautiful smile and so much gratitude for the Kind Family Dentistry Team. Dr. Kovacik does impeccable work, all of the hygienists are knowledgeable and kind, and Beth at the front desk makes my day, she is so positive and welcoming. I highly recommend this dentist office if you are looking for a new one.
