I was informed the dr was in charge of the messages. I asked to speak with him and he refused I could hear him in the background saying he didn't want to speak to me. I then get a call back from the doctor and he was still rude saying if I can't give a courtesy call he doesn't want me as a patient. Mind you this is my first impression of this man. I am glad I will not be going to his office. I understand I should have called but it was in no way intentional, but this response was RIDICULOUS. I would give him a zero if I could.

I wanted contacts for use with my virtual reality headset and hadn't used contacts for over 20 years. After a brief wait, I received an efficient expert-level exam and smart conversation with Dr. Brandys. Nice dealing with someone who has personality. The optician's were all great afterwards too. I have 3 sample packs of contacts to try so we get the best match for my VR unit. He gave me near, far and mono lenses and I didn't need to buy any until we figure out which are best. On top of that, everyone was operating with good cheer in what is clearly a healthy work environment. Great find!

They have no problem charging customers over $500 for prescription even after you questioned them while you were getting them only to be right all along. I have been coming to this location for my eyeglasses for a couple of years now and I am a big fan…read moreof them The location is very easy to find. Parking lot is shared by a few restaurants and a faster option with Jimmy Johns. I have never found an issue parking here. Scheduling your eye exam is very easy. Unlike some places, I have never had an issue with calling and they have always picked up the phone. The building inside is very clean and they have plenty of options to pick from. I usually like sticking with Oakleys and they stock plenty of brands. One thing that I love about this place (which I haven't experienced from other locations) is that they are very clear about what my insurance covers and if any discounts from insurance I will get... ahead of time. From my years of coming here, all the staff are very friendly and accommodating. During my exam, they let me know what is covered under my insurance and if I have the options for further testing (which may or may not be covered). However, they do not push for these tests if you say no. The doctor here is also very friendly. He makes you feel like you are family that you haven't seen in a long time. He does not make you feel pressured nor does he pushes for any extra services or tests. Once I was finished with my exam, I brought the script to the front again, and I was free to pick out my glasses. Then they will sit you down, ask if you want any other upgrades if you wanted. Again, I like how they do not push anything extra. If you want basic and low cost, they have no issues... if you want to call all out, they will do that for you as well. I like how this place does give you text messages. They will remind you when your appointment is coming up, and if/when your glasses/contacts arrive.

I was immediately taken back for the eye puff test and then got seated on the exam chair. My sister was quick with her forms so we ended up pretty much doing the appointment together at the same time. Good news is that my vision improved but the bad news is that my near-sighted vision is starting to go and she mentioned the bad "B" word - Bifocals *gasp*. I guess it all comes with age and there's not much we can do. I got fitted for glasses and contacts and they told me about the different rebates available for contacts. Dr. Wojcik was awesome as per usual and adds a feminine touch to the place compared to how I remember it from when I was a kid and saw her dad. I've gone to Dr. Fritz for the last couple years for everything from regular check ups to pink eye…read moreemergencies. He's a fast talker- definitely not the kind to hold your hand and take his time. But I don't mean that in a bad way. He's kind of like a hummingbird. He knows his stuff, he gets to the point, and he's gone. He's also brutally honest. The whole staff is. I've mentioned wanting new glasses and he's told me he will have the prescription ready to go for me and he "doesn't care" of I buy my glasses there. He seems more interested in taking care of your vision than selling you stuff. He's also told me my prescription didn't change enough for me to NEED new ones but I could get them if I wanted. Phil, the contacts guy (I've only ever spoken to him about contacts) is funny, personable, and again, honest. I have the same prescription in each eye but don't wear contacts regularly. He sold me one box. Just one not a bunch. Not that standard year supply that costs a couple hundred and you must get all 23 boxes in order to be eligible for the $5 rebate. Just one and said based on my use it should last me 6 months. He also sold me a brand of contacts that I've never heard of but after he listened to my comments and concerns knew exactly what to recommend. And he was right. Love my contacts. Staff is friendly and courteous. Never had any billing issues. I bought my frames online and brought them in and they put basic lenses in for me. Again the honesty; the frames lady asked if I wanted regular lenses or "all the extra stuff that just makes them more expensive" lol Okay then. Turn around time was about a week as they had to be sent out. Dr. Fritz was the only one to diagnose my repetitive bouts of pink eye as being related to my seasonal allergies and not poo particles in my ocular cavity. Also, they are not kidding when they tell you to call them when you arrive with pink eye. Call from the car, someone comes out opens all doors and takes you straight to a room. Slightly disconcerting but I appreciate the thoroughness. Means they're doing it with everyone else too. I'd rather wait a week and get knowledgable, honest service than be sold a ton of stuff I don't need just to get my glasses in an hour.
