I hired Yanez Remodeling company for an interior painting project and, unfortunately, the…read moreexperience left much to be desired. While they may excel with smaller homes, it quickly became apparent that they were overwhelmed by the scope of my property. The timeline was extended due to personal reasons, resulting in an additional day added with last minute notice. The quality of work was inconsistent throughout the house. Corners were left as it appeared in some areas unfinished or barley touched, there were noticeable gaps and overspray, and paint ended up on the hardwood floors, stair railings and other areas. I am still getting paint spots up. Moving furniture led to scratched flooring, which was never addressed. Despite a clear conversation about rehanging a large framed picture properly, it was returned crooked. A curtain rod holder was broken, and the drapes were left on the floor. No compensation or discount was offered. The attention to detail simply wasn't there, and it showed in both the execution and the way the space was left after the job was done. I'm disappointed with the outcome and would advise future clients to consider the size and complexity of their project before hiring.

We couldn't be more pleased with his professionalism and with the final work. For the quote, Tony was punctual, friendly, and did a great job listening to our needs. Though I was originally resigned to go with a satin or semi-gloss finish that would be easier to wipe clean, he recommended a paint line that is both matte and scrubbable. On the day of, he and his crew were on time, and they were very communicative to make sure we were on the same page for our desired colors and angles. They worked diligently to get the job done within the expected time frame and actually left the space cleaner than when they arrived. As you can see in the pictures, the results were just perfect. All the corners and lines were super crisp, and the desired effect was even better than we imagined. As my wife exclaimed, "Pinterest WIN!" If you're looking for a professional result and a friendly crew, I highly recommend Tony and Fresh Coat.

DO NOT HIRE TERESA AND HER COMPANY to do any work on your home if you care about it. We reached out…read moreto Teresa starting the beginning of February to finish some last parts of repairing/painting our front porch. She blamed some delay on weather, illness, and scheduling, but since March she has ignored our text and e-mail entirely. It's safe to say now that she has NO INTENTION TO FINISH THE JOB, despite us paying in full (our mistake). Not only has she been unprofessional but I have photographic evidence of some of the issues. The details: We hired Teresa Snyder late December to fix some areas of our porch and stairs that had wood rot. The bulk of the work finally was completed after about 3 weeks due to her van breaking down as well as labor problems. We encountered the following problems in hiring Teresa: - UNRELIABLE WORK CREW: During this time she went through 4 different work crews (5 different people altogether). One never showed up the next day, two were fired, the fourth walked off the job, and the last was hired last minute off of Craigslist for the day (he was the only one who stuck around). - CARELESS EXECUTION: One side of the porch was initially installed visibly crooked; it was only after we brought this to her attention that she fixed it. - Steps were installed at about a steep angle downwards (about 4 degrees with our calculations). Again, it was only after we checked it ourselves that night that we noticed and we had to bring this up to her attention. - She installed a board on the lowest step leaving an almost 2 inch gap between the riser and the ground that has remained unfixed (see picture). She was supposed to return to add another board to fill the gap but never did. - TIME DELAYS DUE TO FIXING HER OWN SHODDY WORKMANSHIP: Both problems above were major fixes and delayed the "completion" of the work. The stairs took her nearly an extra day to re-do. - FAILURE TO PERFORM NECESSARY COMPONENTS AND USE PROPER MATERIAL: Teresa failed to sufficiently caulk any of the seams of wood that she replaced. She seems to claim that weather had a lot to do with it, but she didn't advise us that doing the repair in December would lead to the caulk pulling away and therefore this would become an issue. SEE PICTURES. She also did not use galvanized nails and therefore they've already started rusting. - FAILURE TO COMPLETE THE ENTIRE JOB: Back in December after we paid in full, we agreed that once the weather warms up, she would return and paint over the areas she "fixed", as well as fix the bottom rise. As mentioned above, she has ignored our requests to return. Again, if you are considering hiring her, see the photos here that document the work that she did, both in-progress and after that may make you think again. Please go with someone more reliable, knowledgeable, dependable, and capable. Teresa Snyder, and by extension, The Fix It Service is none of these things and we hope you don't make the same mistake as we did.

We went with them because Mark Sharpe, our Project Manager was very inclusive with the estimate. All colors could be changed and he was very detailed in what he thought we needed in wood rot repair. To us, it seemed like the other estimates had wide variances in what could be added during the project. A couple of things did come up throughout the project that were impossible to see high up on the house and he kept up communication, showed us pictures and explained what we needed in great detail. The team worked diligently, they were polite, the products used were very high quality and you can tell they take great pride in their work. He shared ideas on colors and explained that he does many coats of paint and uses quality paint.  He is very knowledgeable and takes many notes and photos as we walked through our property.   We had not moved in yet and stopped by on many occasions to check out the progress.  Every time, the crew were hard at work and the site was kept very neat and clean.  We met John, who seemed like a "Master painter" his attention to detail was exceptional.  We also met Miguel, the team leader z and he was keeping an eye on the progress and quality. Super nice people. We opted for some very dark colors, which easily show drips and mishaps and there were non! The painting took a week and the cost was absolutely reasonable and fair.  Given the level of quality with Wilson's Painting, I feel that I was not charged enough in the end. Lying in my bed staring at the  ceiling, walls and trim I am amazed at the detail and care that was taken to paint the room. I cannot find one drip or error. My expectations were far exceeded.  If you want the best at a reasonable price and in a timely manner, Wilson's Painting is your best choice!  Thank you Wilson and your crew!
