I'm beyond happy with my experience working with Ammie -- absolutely 5 stars!…read more Here's why: * Highly detailed design presentations Every room included exact dimensions, which made renovation planning so much easier. I had tried several AI tools before, but without accurate measurements, they weren't very helpful. Her precision made a huge difference. * Flexible options for every budget She provided multiple options (low, mid, and high-end), which helped me visualize different directions while staying within my budget. * Great collaboration & support My ideas changed quite a bit during the process, and I requested several updates after the initial design. She was patient, supportive, and always improved my ideas with thoughtful suggestions. * Very responsive She replied quickly whenever I had questions or needed advice, which made everything smooth and stress-free. * Cost-efficient & transparent pricing Her pricing is clear, and she delivers excellent value for the quality of work. Overall: If you're detail-oriented, have a specific vision (or even if you're still figuring it out), and budget conscious, I highly recommend Ammie!

She never pressured me while I was still considering whether to get an interior designer or not, and she was very upfront about her costs and services. She made the whole process really comfortable. When Ammie came to see the space, she had an eye for making the house a home. She immediately knew to recommend adding a kitchen island. This was something I was actually going back and forth on for a really long time, and I had so many people telling me not to do it and how it would look weird or there wouldn't be enough space in the kitchen, etc. After renovations, I'm so glad we got an island because it's functional and it really elevates the space, I love it. All her measurements and recommendations are spot on. Ammie took a lot of stress and weight off my shoulders because I knew whatever she recommended was in my best interest and aesthetic. I also asked so many questions and she was always prompt to answer. 10/10 recommend working with Ammie on your next design project. Thank you Ammie! :)

1st Stage Property Transformation - Living Room Home Staging in Newport Beach, Orange County

1st Stage Property Transformation

Not only did we buy the house but made a good deal with Morgan and her crew to purchase some of the pieces they used to pump up the property. Unfortunately one of the pieces of the sectional failed and upon hearing of the issue Morgan got in touch with the wholesaler, arranged for us to pick out another sectional, had it delivered 50 miles away, took away the broken sectional and set up the new one. Fast, efficient and way above and beyond what we were expecting. All with a smile!!!! The kind of customer service that everyone should subscribe to.

I have hired 1st Stage for multiple properties over the years. In the past, they generally did…read moregreat work and I was impressed with their staging style, professionalism, availability, and pricing. That said, my most recent experience was disappointing. I had them stage a modern townhouse in Costa Mesa near the beach. Unfortunately, the staging style they chose did not match the aesthetic of the property at all. I am not a designer, so I typically trust their vision and let them take the lead. This time, I reached out to their team and simply asked if we could swap out a few items to make the space feel more modern or beachy. I was told I would need to pay a restocking fee. That response was frustrating. I had referred them many jobs and clients in the past, and while the fee itself was not a large amount, it felt unnecessary and left a bad impression. They did eventually waive the fee, which I appreciated, but the situation already felt mishandled. Fast forward a bit. The property did not sell, and I requested that it be de-staged. Their team came out a few days later and removed the furniture. A few months after that, they emailed both me and my client, who was the actual party to the staging contract, claiming there was a prorated balance due for a few extra days the furniture remained in the home. The amount was under $400. The contract was between my client and 1st Stage, not me, so I was confused as to why I was included. Shortly after, Mark Sutton emailed me directly asking if I could take care of the payment by the next day. I found that extremely unprofessional. Agents are the ones who bring them business, and asking me to personally pay an invoice that had nothing to do with me showed a real lack of business judgment. I expressed my disappointment with their customer service, and the only response I received was a payment link. If you are looking for a stager who truly feels like a partner and values long-term relationships, I would think twice before using this company. In my experience, once an issue arises, you are treated like just another number, and preserving relationships does not seem to be a priority.

In all, they designed and built for us a coffee table, a sideboard, a set of 8 dinging chairs, and a 60" x 60" square dining table with two leaves that extends to fit 12 people. We loved their design style so much we asked them to draw up plans for remodeling our kitchen, family room and living room. We were given a selection of distinct options, all matching our taste. Bergen identified and sourced several additional furniture and lighting pieces for us as well. Bergen has an elegant and fresh sense of design. Gabriel is a master woodworker. Both are consummate artisans. We loved their concern about using sustainable and environmentally-low-impact materials and finishes. Above all, they were an absolute pleasure to work with. They communicated clearly and made sure to get our input along the way. We get so many compliments on the unique, one-of-a-kind pieces they created for us. Having furniture created and made by hand by people in your community makes the pieces hold extra meaning for us. My husband and I consider these works of art. We would absolutely recommend Abrego Design and can't wait to work with them again.

We had a few custom sofas, lounge chairs, a dining table with chairs, ottomans and beds made by them. We were able to come by during production and actually be able to see all the pieces being made. Will definitely be using them for all our projects in the future.
