Oh my gosh!!! I've…read morelived in Austin for 25 years and have lost count of how many stylists I've tried. Xavier had great reviews and is within a short drive from my home. So, I held my breath and scheduled an appointment. I'm 72, have naturally-colored, grey hair, and wanted it layered. It's difficult to find a stylist who can do a decent layered cut. But, Xavier hit the mark. He is a scissors, brush, and dryer wizard. We spoke until he was sure he knew exactly the results I wanted. He definitely delivered. No more bad hair days for me!!! In the morning, I simply fluff up my hair then run my fingers through it to make my style spring back to life. Within 10 minutes it's dried and styled....no brush needed. I simply sweep the dryer over my hair with the concentrator nozzle in the direction I want it to fall. No product is needed to keep it in place. My visit with Xavier was extremely enjoyable because he's such a vibrant, engaging person. We chatted away the entire time I was sitting in his chair. It was so relaxing to be in a private room where I wasn't forced to listen to multiple conversations and dryers blasting. Xavier even has the courtesy to silence the ringer on his phone. Although it would have been easy to simply continue with my routine of gray coverage on darker hair, he suggested the alternative of gray blending with highlights. Not only did this solve my allergic reaction problem (darker dyes are more likely to cause skin reactions), it broke the discouraging cycle of gray coverage with dark hair! We all know what I'm talking about... seeing that "ring of gray" show up only weeks after covering them. The resulting color was not only more flattering but something that won't have me running for root touchups only weeks later. Did I mention I also got a fantastic haircut?! I left the salon feeling better than I have in years. Thanks, Xavier, for helping me turn the page on the relationship with my hair!

The day of the appointment I got the news that my daughter in New Orleans had been in an accident. I saw Brittany had text to move my appointment back bc she hadn't gotten hair yet. I text and told her about my daughter and that I couldn't make it bc I was headed to New Orleans. Four hours later, she proceeded to take a $400 unauthorized withdraw from my account. Her cancelation policy, which I have a pic of - says you'll be charged 1/2 the cost of the service if you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment. That would have been $197. She sent me a pic of the same place on her website where it states the cancellation policy but SHE EDITED the website to now read 100% instead of half the price of service. She has $550 of my money and will not answer any calls or texts. I got zero service. I got zero hair I sent money for. I have called. I have left messages. I have text. I've begged. I explained these were very extenuating circumstances. I've been kind and patient. I'm even willing to accept her sticking to HER policy and sending me back $350 and keeping the half of The service fee we agreed on.
