I recently had a tooth filled that they had been monitoring for a while, and the entire experience was flawless. The dental assistant, Char, is absolutely amazing! I loved chatting with her. Dr. Kwong is very kind, explains everything clearly, and walks you through each step so you always know what's happening. I also have to say, all of the ladies in the front office are so kind and sweet. It's hard to find a good dentist, and when you do, it truly feels like a blessing. I've read reviews of the overpricing, greed, pushing of unnecessary procedures and treatments and kept going - not anymore. If they don't care about my business I will take it elsewhere. She was less than professional and doesn't understand what a Veteran is (POW Veteran) and this goes to show you that no one cares about Veteran Disability status. That Veterans are a commodity to the US citizens and that service to country means Religious and Disability discrimination when seeking care. This dentist has some qualities that don't align with my Religious and Veteran Disability status. She's not qualified to treat Veterans in a POW status like myself.

Dr. Koontz has done a fantastic job of perfectly putting his dream team together. My beloved Lexi moved, but I've now seen Anna as my hygienist for the last couple years, and I absolutely ADORE her! I'm so excited for my appointments because I feel like I get to catch up with my friend. She's very thorough, careful, considerate, and sweet. Their new facility is absolutely gorgeous. You will be in a private room with state of the art equipment. The receptionists are great, and everything works like a well oiled machine. I'm so grateful to have found this practice. Dr. kang kept wanting to install crown on 3 of my teeth. I had absolutely no problems with my teeth he wanted to crown. His reason was it would extend their life. He finally managed to convince me to the procedures. Installed 2 crowns on number 18 & 19. Immediately hours after Pain started. He looked at them and insisted me to wait, pain did not go away. To make the story short he appeared to regret he did that, promised to assist in restorations, root canal or implant, which later he backed off in assisting. I ended up in another office root calling both teeth costing me over $5000. Office that performed root canal told me crown where too thin, both cracked. I had paid Dr. Kang $890 and his office billed my insurance and received $800. Dr. Kang office asked for another $553 from me and received, then he canceled our cleaning appointments and texted us we are no longer patient of his office. He is an incompetent and greedy dentist, I would not recommend him.

I read reviews and finally chose Avenue Dental. My husband and I, as well as a dear family friend, made appointments. After three to four months, I was originally told approximately a month, I finally had my teeth. The dentist was on vacation so I was given the dentures and sent on my way. My husband was out of it for his appointment as he had teeth pulled but the temporary dentist kept apologizing. I wasn't sure what was going on but he said they would make it right, something about the dentures being wrong, and they scheduled an appointment the following week. So my husband had no teeth for that week and then another week after that appointment. His still do not fit and he refuses to wear them. It's been about 4 months and my teeth fall out when I speak so I called in and asked about a fitting since I had not had one originally. I went in and was told that they needed realigning because of bone loss. It's been 4 months, my last teeth lasted 15 years and I never needed any adjustments. The office then sent in a person with a quote of a $1000. I explained I couldn't do that so if I had to pay so much I would only be doing the top, she said sign it anyway. I was originally told that adjustments were $150, and I had asked if I needed to pay that for this visit since no fitting was ever done to the teeth. I was told there should have been one and it was implied I wasn't being truthful. Keep in mind I had just paid somewhere around $5000 for the teeth. The assistant left to make an appointment for next week, she came back in and I was told to hand over my teeth, that I should have them back in a few days. I had already explained I needed to schedule for next week so I could try to find my old teeth so I could eat and speak for those days. I explained again I could not do that today, she explained it was the only way it worked with the dentist schedule. I was finally told to call when I was ready to get it done and they would schedule me then, and then I was walked to the door. So now I'm out almost 13,000 cash for myself and my husband and I'm going to have to go to another dentist that does what they say. Please beware! Most of us cannot afford to go and get new teeth let alone be robbed when we do. I'm so upset, I no longer have teeth I feel confident in and I do not have another $13000 to make it right, it was a a once in a lifetime opportunity, nor do I want to go for 2-3 days without teeth while I wait to get them corrected. The dentist only works Thursday & Friday, which explains why my 1 month time frame turned into 4 months. I had read the reviews and I thought I'd found a place I could trust but now I'm out the money, I have teeth that fall out when I speak, and I was treated like I was not worth their time.
