Gentle Giant Delivery moved a refrigerator from our basement to the garage. In the process of the move, they damaged the stair ceiling and wall. One mover actually commented by saying. "OOPS". I tried numerous times to get the situation resolved with the owner, to no avail. He stated in our last conversation he would cut a cheque and mail it to me ASAP. That was 4 months ago and still no cheque. DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY. POOR SERVICE AND LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE read more

Gentle Giant delivered a washer/dryer set I had purchased at Rona. They called a day ahead to say they'd be at my place between 11:00 and 2:00 PM the next day. On the next day, they called at 11:00 to say they'd be over in 15-20 minutes, which they were. Once here, they were presented with a too-narrow doorway but solved the problem with no damage to walls or the door. The washer and dryer were hooked up professionally, with advice to me on a couple extra things I should do to ensure they operate efficiently. These gentlemen were friendly, polite and excellent at their job. I highly recommend them! read more

I needed a new dryer delivered to my rental. I was advised to call the delivery company to set up a delivery window. I called and left a voicemail as they were closed at the time of calling. I waited the next day until 1 p.m. and still had yet to hear from them. I called again and the gentleman that picked up claimed that he was sorry and he was trying to get it delivered that afternoon. I expressed that I had only been calling for a delivery window, as I was currently at work and worked during most of their operational hours. I inquired about leaving a key for the movers and was told this would be okay. I was also told that " If I dont hear from them consider it done"... I recieved a phone call at 2:04pm stating they were on their way and at 2:26pm to say they were finished and couldn't complete the job. I wasn't given a clear answer except for a hole in the vent. I arrived home one hour later and found my mailbox lid completely open and the key exposed, and multiple lights left on in my basement. I now get to figure out how to lift a dryer by myself onto a one inch platform. Would NOT recommend gentle giant delivery. read more

Here is an interaction today I had with a huge bully thinking he was not on camera. Video will…read morefollow later tonight.The manager of Leave a Light On Delivery, Chris, said he "didn't give a fuck" about my disability....I am legally blind. His delivery person picked up a bottle of vodka for my girl friends and myself at approximately 2:40. It is our "girl's night with movies, games, food etc." I live three blocks from the pick up site. At 3:55 I was once again in touch with the initial delivery site. I indicated I was of the ilk not to pay. They agreed. I have Vivent security showing the interaction between myself and the driver after 4:00p.m. We were both calm and all was well. Shortly after that I have video of Chris threatening me, blind in a cast and with my service dog, yelling at me and threatening to call the police. He was yelling he 'didn't give a fuck' about my disability and he was sending his driver to be paid and he was calling the police etc...just aggressive and mean. Video will follow later
