Not only are…read morethe office staff friendly and accommodating, but the dental assistants who do the cleanings are wonderfully patient with the very youngest patients, and those who have special needs such as my nearly adult son with severe autism. My kids actually look forward to going to see the dentist without being bribed by toys, etc. I especially enjoy scheduling our appointments to occur concurrently so we can get in and out in the minimum amount of time. The later hours maintained by this office also allow me to schedule even on school days without having to pull my children out of school early.

When I went in, they took my temperature and asked me if I had come in contact with any covid positive patients. I said, not in about three weeks but I am a nurse so I cannot guarantee. (My employer is listed on my file!) I work outside of the home and therefore the risk is there. I explained the use of PPE at my place of employment, and how there are better processes in place than most and definitely better than some Joe Schmo hanging out at wegmans without a mask. But don't you worry, she "respectfully declined" seeing me today because she just cannot be sure. Are you flipping kidding me?! How is anyone 100% sure?! Why don't they send these screening questions before we get to the door?! What's the moral of the story? If you want your teeth cleaned, answer the questions with a lie to make them feel better. I appreciate her respectfully declining because I will be respectfully taking my business elsewhere and respectfully letting everyone I come in contact with the absolute hypocrisy of this establishment. If you're afraid to work with the public, then maybe don't open?! CNY Family Dentistry...not a good choice. Side note-this was after I had to remind them REPEATEDLY to stop changing my appointments without asking me. I would get reminders of appointment changes all throughout the year and when I would have initially scheduled all three kids to go at once, I would end up spending three hours at the dentist office due to their poor scheduling abilities. Too bad the office staff is awful because Dr. Vignogna is nice. Too bad...

My son had a bluey themed room with a tv above his head so it was more fun and inviting for him! The dentist and hygienist were so kind, accommodating, and so good with my son!! Here's an honest review of this dental practice. We had two appointments at this office. Our first…read morevisit in 2021 went great with Dr. Young. He was friendly, kind and patient. Even the hygienist was very kind and patient with our 5 year old child. Our child did not have any cavities or dental concerns so we scheduled a return visit for the following year. Our second visit was today and we had a horrible experience. We met with a different hygienist than before and she was rude, inpatient and made our child feel extremely uncomfortable with her remarks. Our child was nervous and started crying when the hygienist came in. Instead of being calm and patient, the hygienist told our child if she did not stop crying " Mommy would have to wait in the waiting room." Then she proceeded to call another hygienist in and told me to hold my child down so they could brush her teeth. I said, ABSOLUTELY NOT! If my child is nervous, why would I restrain her? That sounds very aggressive and abusive to me. I told the hygienist that we can cancel the appointment or try again another time. She walked us to the checkout area. As we were checking out I asked to schedule an appointment with Dr. Young ( the first doctor we saw). The secretary was nice and said she would do it, but before she could put the appointment in Dr. Michael B. Quigley came out and refused to let us reschedule our appointment. His exact words were " If your child cannot handle seeing different providers maybe you should go somewhere else to a smaller, more private practice." I said " Are you refusing us services? " He said " We are not going to reschedule you." He also proceeded to tell me he owns the practice. His racist undertone was disturbing to say the least. I would never go back there again. Dr. Michael B. Quigley and the hygienist we saw today owe our family an apology. The way they treated my child and I was unacceptable.

I called and told the girl that barb hasn't called me yet. she said barb was't in and she'd leave a message for her. I waited and still no call from barb and I was getting worried that the uncrowned tooth was going to break so I called again and I asked what was going on with Burke and she said he was leaving the practice and there were no appointments for me with him. she put me on hold and came back a few minutes later and said I could have an appointment with Dr. Sam so I made the appointment for August 12 to see her. I was sent a bill for 720.00 dollars so on Monday and called b'ville dental and told receptionist that I don't owe 720.00, I owe 648.00. so on Wednesday the 12th I went in for my appointment and the desk-girl said I owe 720.00 and I showed her the receipt and said i owe this amount. then she tried to get me to pay up front and I said i'd pay when I got the crown on. a few minutes later, the woman who takes payment came out and called me in to her desk and said payment is due before my procedure. so I wrote the check out for 648.00 and she said I owe 720.00. I was starting to get upset and told her I don't owe 720.00 and then the manager came down the stairs and said the 10% only applies if you pay the total amount. news to me. so I said you can keep your crown and that I was going to find a new dentist and that woman just shrugged her shoulders. I than said I want my 700.00 back and she said lab fees would be taken out of it. I was so angry. so I called the NYS attorney general and left a message asking if they could help me get my money back. that practice is so uncaring! DO NOT GO THERE!
