If I was rating this business on friendliness, I would give it 4-5 stars. The staff are really so nice to their patients. But, I was unable to find a chiropractor here that helped my back. I tried them all and most of them made me worse. I even asked for just the activator and some of the chiropractors use that very aggressively. Dr Veronica is the only one I can see that doesn't hurt me but she has very limited hours. The other problem is finding a good massage therapist. They have an extremely high turnover. It took me a long time to teach the massage therapist what works for my back and then he moved to Alaska! I waited a long time to go back and finally found an amazing LMT named Daphne there. She was literally the only reason I went for 8+ months. Then they fired her! They need to treat their massage therapists better so they don't have such a high turnover. read more

I have had the pleasure of visiting Gentle Care Chiropractic one to two times a week for the past several months. It's hands down my favorite part of the week! Right when I walk in the door, I'm greeted by Erica (office manager) or Janel (chiropractic assistant). I swear even on the days I'm feeling like absolute garbage while I wait for my appointment, those two ladies can put a smile on my face! Even the music is upbeat! I see Dr. Dan for chiropractic needs. He's polite, punctual, friendly, AND he even laughs at my terrible jokes. Win/win! Sarah is my LMT. She has the hands of an angel, and always brings positive energy to my massage appointments... I cannot say enough great things about this place. I used to like going to this place. The staff was friendly, Daphne was the best massage therapist I've ever seen in my 65 years, and I've been coming for months. When I wanted to schedule my next appointment with her, they told me she was no longer there. She was the most requested therapist in that place and I've noticed they get rid of all the popular massage therapists. I've also heard Dr. Ralph verbally abusing the front desk girls where the whole lobby could hear. I honestly don't know how this place has stayed in business for so long with how they treat their staff. I've cancelled all future appointments and will be boycotting this place because you can't treat people the way they do. read more

I needed to find a new chiropractor that would take my insurance so I chose Gentle Care. I spent quite awhile filling out lengthy questionnaires that emphasized health and welllness. I arrived for my first appointment and filled out more forms. Just as I was expecting to see the doctor, the patient and her husband stepped into the reception area without masks. They were chatting with the receptionist for a while before I noticed they were unmasked. I waited for the receptionist to advise them of the mask mandate. After a few minutes I spoke up and said there is a statewide mask mandate in Oregon (it appeared from their conversation they were from another state. The husband left and patient wife acused me of shaming them. I left and will not return. I expected a phone call from the doctor but it appears they did not care that I was upset about the potential exposure to omicron. read more

I came into see Dr. V after being in pain for over a year. I had bulging and herniated disc in my back. I went from being very active to not having any mobility. My first introduction to Gentle Care Chiropractic was when I found myself experiencing a bulging disc that pinched a nerve and caused me to go to the ground fairly often. I've definitely experienced better. Came in earlier then my scheduled time but I was called in late. My hour long massage ended up being 50 mins because of that. If Im going to pay someone for an hour long massage, I expect it to be one hour. Also, I came to relax, not for the masseuse to be talking to me the whole hour! I have been treated by Gentle Care's Dr. V. Esagui for 10 yrs or more. She has helped me overcome some difficult injuries as well as an abnormal condition to my neck. She helped alleviate back issues caused by carrying a sample bag during my 10 years as a manufacturers Rep. Recently I had a car accident and had more issues with the neck as I had sideways whiplash[not back to front] which is much worse to recover from. I had been having pain in my face, head and neck since a dental appointment 2 weeks earlier. I came in to see Dr. Veronica for an adjustment and Laurie for a massage. I left feeling like a new person. The dentist had recommended ibuprofen and things were not getting much better. Between the adjustment and exercises given me by Dr. Veronica and Laurie Volm's craniosacral treatment, my face, head and neck were free of pain and completely relaxed. I should mention that I had already had a massage at a world class spa a couple days earlier. While it helped, it was nowhere near the level of therapeutic value as my visit to Gentle Care. I was never a devotee of chiropractic care until I encountered this practice. It is a nice office, convenient and easy to get to. Highly recommended! read more
