From initial point of contact to getting things arranged, they were so fast and prioritized my grandma so well. It was incredible. They were so helpful through this sensitive and sad time. Empathetic, careful, kind, thoughtful, meaningful, and you felt the love. I'm truly thankful I decided to call them. This all transpired within two weeks. Maybe less. They gave us a schedule but grandma felt weaker on a day off but they STILL came right away without hesitation. They let us know she had 24-48 hours and because of that info, all of us were able to gather around my grandma and have her pass peacefully. So thankful to Amazing Grace.

Over a period of a year's time we could have not asked for better care of them. Their two nurses were kind, caring, and ABSOLUTELY made certain that our loved ones every need was met. Nurses always answered their cell phones when we called, and if they were unable to at the time, promptly returned our calls. One of the nurses returned to the Assisted Living home (on her own time) to be with our Father when he passed away as she knew we lived too far away to make it there in time. She didn't want him to be alone. They always extended loving care and listened to any concern. All of their medical goods and Rx's were promptly delivered upon request and our parents never wanted for anything. We can't say enough about this organization. We would highly recommend them. Update: My dad died of Pneumonia and his cancer had spread. The nurses kept saying his lungs sounded clear. They weren't. If he was properly taken care of there could have been a chance his cancer wouldn't have spread and the pneumonia could have cleared. But all the delays and maltreatment wouldn't have let him get better. He went over a week before my mom could get him on antibiotics that were prescribed at discharge. All the nurses kept saying he had enough in the hospital but that was impossible.

High Desert was not equipped to see end of life coming and treat my father properly. The nurse was un compassionate . My father became more and more agitated, which happens at end of life, and the nurse told me she didnt know what to do...my father fell and we had him taken to the hospital, there they found he had a UTI, which also causes confusion, which the hospice nurse did not recognize and treat. I hen called Charter Hospice and they told me they could offer many things that HDH could not ,Continuing care and medication by shot. If i were to choose a hospice care again it would not be H Desert.
